So far it's pretty good.

Play with a controller for a much nicer time.

Would recommend to people who love the classics.

If you liked Fallout 3 and New Vegas, you'll have a great time. It's really just like those, but newer.

Keep in mind that this game is very unoptimised, so in order to play it with reliability and quality you'll want a high-end PC.

The Developers have abandoned caring for this game or it's community and their passion has devolved into corporate greed.
They don't deserve any of your money, pirate the game or go buy Killing Floor 2 / Left 4 Dead / Vermintide.

The playtime I have of 80 minutes is how long it took to beat the first world with 100%.

The game is unfair
A lot is expected of the player without any justification, so you find yourself with a lot of trial and error gameplay.

It's riddled with minor bugs
They don't really detriment the gameplay(sprite glitches, sometimes you can walk on invisible platforms, etc).

It has potential
The story is mediocre, but it's also pretty original. A lot of the levels in the first world have really clever puzzle elements, though others are stupid and frustrating. I'd like to see what this dev makes in something like Mario Maker.

It costs a dollar(or 14 cents)
You get what you pay for with this game, it's currently on sale for 14 cents.

TL;DR
It's kind of ♥♥♥♥, but for it's price it's not as ♥♥♥♥ as I'd expect.

ESJ is an extremely overhyped and over-rated platformer that boasts it's difficulty, art-style and music. While the music is quite nice, the art-style is extremely cluttered and many visual effects are extremely unpolished.
The gameplay itself is described as "The Unholy merging of Super Meat Boy & Super Hexagon!" and unholy it is. If anything it combines bad aspects of the two games, the ridiculous lack of vision in some areas is reminiscent of the very progressed sections of Super Hexagon and the only similarity it has with Super Meat Boy is a lack of punishment for death(a good feature, don't get me wrong) and the fact that it's a difficult platformer.

There was nothing that compelled me to continue playing this game past the level shown in the 5th screenshot on the Steam Page [ http://i.imgur.com/4lkvh1q.jpg ].

I would not recommend this game for it's regular price, for $2 maybe.
But ahead of games like I Wanna Be The Guy and Super Meat Boy? Hell no.
