First game ever I call a meeting soon after game start and start lying randomly accusing a purple guy as the impostor, saying I saw them try to kill me and some such. He gets ejected and turns out he was impostor.

10/10 would accuse randomly again

pretty fun lil game, played on free weekend. Enjoyable, nice community. Crossplay is actually good unlike what people here say. VOIP is amazing. Better than just Among Us clone

This is the third time I've come back to the game. I played it on release and some time after release when they promised it changed. It was on Bethesda Launcher.

On release, I wanted to refund the game but Bethesda refused me for no good reason, so I was considering a chargeback, I even went to my bank with a written request. But I changed my mind the very last second when I saw that Bethesda's online billing vendor did transactions for many other important companies like Microsoft, my anti-virus etc. so I decided not to risk my ability to do business with them.

Then, I heard that by linking my Steam to my Beth account, I could get this game for free on Steam during a limited time frame. I did it, and the game sat here for a year or so. And I finally played it

I have to say it is finally an okay game to play, even slightly above average. I continue playing with my release level 15 character

What I hated the most for a Fallout game is that you were locked into level zones in certain areas and you needed to grind to much higher levels like 30 to travel to some of the more mysterious and interesting places. Also, even if you managed to go to those high level area (I managed on release), all the loot was un-usable because it had high level requirements, and killing all those red skull level sponge mobs was pointless. That completely ruined the 3D Fallout experience for me, as I loved the ability of going anywhere I felt like in all my Fallout games since Fallout 1.

And finally, they've fixed it. Now almost all enemies are scaled down or up to your level (except the most fearsome foe in the game, the Scourgebeast, who is capped at level 30 but can be scaled higher if you over level them. I immediately went around the map slowly exploring the cool areas, that I was never able to do before, because I would get 1 shot by over leveled mobs, that I knew I could defeat if they were my level.

I am now able to use Energy Weapons, Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Automatic rifles, Heavy Weapons and almost all in game items from the very begging. Ammo, meds while still rare are much more abundant, you won't find yourself lacking in ammunition for weapons if you loot things.

And finally, they reworked the entire map, added human NPCs that you can speak too (but can't attack unfortunately), repopulated certain hideouts with human enemies like raiders, cultists and other crazies. Finally, the world looks alive. And there are even human given quests and quest lines among with a completely new main storyline. And they are adding new quests and stories over time with updates, finally making this a Fallout game.

Now, there are still many problems, like creatures floating in the air, but that is something to do with the engine, sometimes enemies move too fast, or even teleport but that is the problem with server or net code for this game. They just turned a SP game into MP game, no wonder it happens. Fighting other players therefore is also very twitchy, teleporty and just uncomfortable. You often have to resort to using V.A.T.S. which is an analogue of aimbot/aim assist that uses action points because of Creature Lag. And I am a good shot, I spent 3000 hours in Counter Strike Source.

The interaction between players is not really there, the PvP is non existent. This is primarily a PvE game, where you can just explore things being really chill. It is also somewhat hardcore because it is online. Caps are scarce, you need to eat and drink or you won't be able to fast travel (which costs caps too). If you don't eat and drink you will become sick, will lose Stamina (action points) so you won't be able to run. Sure, you won't lose your character but it will be nigh impossible to play. That is why I picked Cannibal to save on Stimpacks and carry capacity of food items. By the way, everything in the game except quest items and caps has weight. Even ammo.

Well, the game has improved a lot over original. That being said, I dislike Bethesda very very much, maybe them being bought out by Microsoft will change things.

But do not be fooled by the positive review, the game is still average at best. It is good for people who like to explore places slowly.

This is one game where I would choose with neutral but since you can only choose between positive and negative, I think this game is overall more positive. It is fun to play, especially 1st half of the game, since it has so little stealth and unfair checkpoints.

Now I will explain what I really really dislike in this game

Worst checkpoint I've ever encountered in a game. I've been gaming since 1999 and still like to discover new old games I missed. This game is infuriating. It disregards player's time.

Let me give you an example. Mission towards the end. You gotta silently take out guards, put them in hidden places, then you gotta record a lengthy conversation while aiming at the targets and then god forbid you kill fbi agents.

This part of the mission is lengthy. Should you accidentally turn off the recorder or miss a part of dialogue, or kill an FBI agent YOU GOTTA REDO all this again LISTENING TO ALL OF IT AGAIN. Hiding all the bodies again.

Honestly, this game is ruined by bad design choice. I hope remake doesn't have none of that. Some will say this is how old games used to be but I disagree. Many old games had decent save systems and games that used checkpoints had nice checkpoints that did not waste time. Of course not all of them but it was not limited by technology.

Great Timeless Classic.Supports windows 10 and high resolutions. Beautiful attention to detail, cool atmosphere, combat and gore. A great shooter.

Might run into a few bugs. I had a progress stopping bug mid of the level 4 (out of 6 levels), where barrels wouldn't explode to let me go through, in the lab. Solved by downloading save games for the entire game.

Had several bugs where NPCs became immortal for some reason.

And the second half of the game has some really convoluted level design. It is sort of like Dark Souls 1 but it breaks your head where to go and what to do to progress.

Nice little game. I paid half a dollar for it during a steam sale. What I expected. Crashed twice in my whole playthrough. Once on loading a level in episode 2 and once on loading a save in episode 2. Got stuck once on level 6 in Episode one because I did not look up in the red area.

People compare this to quake, I wouldn't. This is more of an old school military shooter. Double wield is bad. Wastes ammo. Better use aiming down sights as much as you can, that way you save ammo and down enemies faster. Do not run and gun. Peak around corners because enemies have aimbot and it is better to be seen by fewer of them at a single time or you will be melted.

Controls are fine and do not need to be remapped if you are an FPS/PC keyboard and mouse gamer.

Game series turned into soap opera. Terrible storylines, horrible dialogues. Waste of time designed mission objectives and a waste of time open world segments 20 years behind GTA III. Horrible shooting.

Beautiful graphics on Ultra.

Overall, a terrible experience.
