Game originally from 2002, frustrating controls and illogical puzzles with few timed events that even after few hours you don't know how to push forward. Do not attempt without a guide -- and even if you do, have in mind, that there's no achievements to reward you for your struggle. As for 2024, playing this on a Win10+ is impossible without third party software even via Steam.

Story also is not cathartic in any way, conclusions pulled out of the așș, whole house is riddled with nonsensical puzzles and even worse closing of the case. If it still doesn't convince you not to play this, then have some spoilers:

Elisabeth who hired Sherlock actually wanted to know where her father is to kill him to rob him of the treasures he kept for himself from excavations in Egypt. Daddy wanted to keep the treasures to complete a ritual, that would free him of the curse of the mummy, because he was getting too sick, and therefore too drugged by pain relievers to think and act sane. He pretended to be a mummy himself to hunt for the thief (Jonathan Parkey) who was at the time infiltrating the manor to find hidden goods. Jonathan was from the group that originally funded Montcalfe's trips to excavation sites in exchange for the found treasures, yet he was keeping them for himself and even made fake registry to send them to cover this. His baby girl was actually in charge of the plan, and she was the one pulling strings, being present at the manor to shoot off her daddy herself after finding where he stashed the artifacts.

Of course none of the above is presented step by step, you couldn't for shıt deduce what was happening before the grand reveal at the end, so you'd have to suffer illogical and inconsistent puzzles, which were hard almost only because of the graphics which rendered the small key details absolutely unseeable.

If you really, really want to experience this game, do this via YouTube Walkthrough and leave this piece of video game history exactly where it belongs -- in the museum. You can enjoy the groundbreaking 2000-2002 era 3D graphics from the distance, as the crashes and controls are not worth losing your sanity over paying the tribute to the franchise.

This puzzle game was the most tedious, tiring and brain-aching one I had ever experienced. This said, it did not make me happy.

The H scenes and achievements did tho.

One of the best thought-out NSFW games out there, it was really intriguing to play along with the world rules, so close to reality yet still fantastical enough to not feel awkward with it's elements. The art is really consistent despite multiple artists and was a treat to unlock new splash screens.*
Honestly can't wait for the remake!

Simple, clever and enjoyable as hell, would totally purchase any DLC for it.

It's a good game, just not a very good Saints Row game, that's it. I had my fun with it, but not what I expected of this franchise.

Pleasant match-3 gameplay, very satisfying visually and dynamic with the intense special effects.

The H-scenes are okay, even though they are not incorporated into gameplay but rather unlocked in the game's gallery. If you want to buy it, do it rather if you like match-3 type games, not if you want the H-content.

Now that's what I call a "psychological horror". This time with amazing unsettling music!

The puzzles were cool tho

Akane really needs to stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidnapping people and think of other solutions to her problems ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

- Game blasts at full volume and in settings you can only turn on/off sounds and music, there's no option to just lower the volume.
- Input lag, if you mash buttons too fast for the game, it just ignores some of them - I want to emphasize, that the "too fast" is not that fast at all, so everyone will experience that.
- When the speed increases, the blocks skip some levels on the grid, so after spawning a block, the first movement is +3 levels ahead, not just faster movement +1 +1 +1, it makes it harder to place the falling blocks precisely.
- The interface makes it hard to actually see where the blocks are being placed, it's wayyy too flashy to make it clear where is what on the grid.

This Tetris ripoff is very, very lacking and I guess all the work went into the interface, that just makes it harder to see what you're playing. Avoid this one. Also, the multiplayer option is local, so you're not playing with others on Steam but just with someone who sits next to you.
