When I turned 18 I recieved my adoption papers. I had never known I wasn't biologically related to my parents and it shook me to my very core. I stayed with my, now foster - sister and contemplated my life. I ignored my friends and only ate cereal for a few days. I decided the only way to get on with my life was to find my real parents and recieve the closure I needed and tell them, "You didn't make the wrong choice giving me up, I'm happy and I hope you are too." It was quite difficult finding my biological mother as since my birth she had moved to austria. I haven't saved enough money up for the trip yet but I have sent her a letter and am currently waiting for a response. Finding my dad was much more difficult since all he had left was an email and what looked like a picture of some sort of keyboard.

I traced the email and found that it was last active from a town close to where I lived. I searched specifically and found it was used inside the local college. I was too nervous to ask directly so I enrolled in the college and joined the IT course in the hopes of being in a better position to find my real father.

It took me two months to find a computer that had been used with the email. My heart rate sped up and I was confused, nervous but mostly excited. The computer had signed in with a steam account, I quickly wrote down teh details and headed home. I created a steam account so I could add them. They accepted my friend request and now I write this comment in the hopes of closure.
