Pretty good game and I enjoy it so far.
Feels like an Animal Crossing-type game but with Lakeview Cabin elements mixed into it.

You can make the town folk like you, get nosey and get your hands dirty into some weird mysteries, or allow your dark desires to consume you and become a serial killer yourself.

The game only lasts about 7 days (in game) but don't let that short time fool you, there are many choices and routes to make in this game.

This game has so much content and hidden bits of lore and mystery, you have to replay it several times to really get to know what this game keeps hidden away from you.
Every night something weird happens, I once saw my scarecrow move on it's own and it creeped me out even though it's just a pixelated game.

Sometimes you want to go to bed and sleep until the next day, only for the game to tell you "Can't sleep" and when you get out of bed to check what is happening, some weird figure lurks around your house.

The game is a little bit forgiving when it comes to dying (which I'm glad).
Even dying in this game can change the course of the story, you'll be revived and wake up in a hospital bed a few times the next day, just don't die too often or you may have to restart the day.

The combat and stamina system feels quite a bit janky, I'm not really a fan of it.
Defending yourself from a slasher is awfully difficult and you will die 9/10 times.
It requires a lot of running around and perfectly timed attacks to successfully fend off an attacker, I wish that was changed/improved.

Overall, I do really recommend the game.
Honestly, I bought it because it was on discount, the 15 euro price tag (roughly 16 dollars) initially made me hesitate about buying it, but it's actually quite good.

It's free, it's a fairly fun game.
Has some fun challenges, wacky tools and NPC interactions.

I must say however that I find the game eerily empty.
After you've finished doing the main quest, discovered some hidden secrets or NPCs, there's not much else you can do really.

Would've loved to have some enemies to fight with in the game, or some NPCs that walk around.
Though, that might not really be the point of the game, I take it that all the design choices were done on purpose.

It's a fun little game that lacks a bit in some other places but I don't think the game is really meant to be taken seriously.
After finishing it and getting the achievements it just goes back on the shelf.

But hey, it's free, might as well try it and see for yourself.

If you enjoy games like Hotline Miami, you will probably enjoy this too.
It feels similar to Hotline Miami but 3D and with different mechanics (shoes!!!).

Game has absolute banger hardbass music and gameplay, unlocking new shoes with new abilities is exciting.
And almost everything is destructible / kickable.

Real fun game, although some of the later levels and challenges can become really hard.
Even with assists I found some parts pretty hard to get through (there isn't really a difficulty setting, you can just enable an option that makes the enemies slightly slower/dumber I guess).

Also wasn't a big fan of how they nerfed the one shoe that replenishes ammo, it only gives you 1 bullet if you kick an enemy, if you're using automatic weapons then getting one bullet for a melee kill is pretty useless.
In the demo it would give you like 2 bullets for every kill which made it fun to use since you could essentially stack ammo as long as you never missed any shots.
But I can understand why they nerfed it.

Game also has a few places where it lags terribly.
I'm playing this with a Ryzen 9 (16 cores), 64gb RAM and a RTX 4070 ti with 12gb VRAM and I still get some pretty intense frame drops in some levels, especially explosions seem to lag the game a lot.

Would recommend the game, although in my opinion it does need some rebalancing and optimization.
Still really fun though!

Early-Access-Rezension
Palworld is what Pokémon never will be and the developers do what Nintedon't.
They give you more freedom than ever, and the devs are also a lot friendlier to streamers/fans making fan content.

If you like Pokémon, open-world exploration. real-time combat and tycoons/base building, you'll love this game.
I was recommended to try this game by friends, I wasn't much interested in it at first but after playing it I've had more fun than with Pokémon.

The game does have some bugs and issues but it should be noted that it's still in early-access as of writing this.
I actually haven't ran in a lot of bugs myself yet, the game has never crashed for me so far.

I'm having lots of fun so far, beating baddies, leveling up, catching new Pals and upgrading my base.
Over time you upgrade your tech and improve your farms and production.

As you get stronger and find more Pals, you beat more bosses and explore more of the world.
I should also include that the world map is pretty huge and I STILL have not explored all of it.

I also find it rather funny that this game also let's you capture humans, yes, humans, you heard that right.
You can even level them up.

While they're not very useful as workers (other than speeding up building/crafting), catching a few thugs or merchants allows you to have them at your base where they can defend against raids or you can have a in-base merchant so you can buy/sell items without having to travel to different places.

Overall, it's just a really fun game, I heavily recommend you get it and try for yourself.
Though, if you don't want to risk losing your save data, wait until it's out of early-access, unless you don't mind making lots of back-ups.

For the price of $0 and a little bit of your time you can delete a grey cube and spawn in a new one to start creating whatever your imagination can think of.

Been using the app for years but eventually got the Steam version for easier updating.

Take my review with a grain of salt, it's perhaps a bit opinionated but I wanted to be honest.

I got this game gifted by a friend, quite enjoyed my time.
It's a simple, retro-styled platformer game where you get to use different moves in a combo to get to places that are hard to reach.

- I like the character design, ignoring the fact that the main character has.. a lot of cake for some reason and has me wondering if some of the hallways were made to be long on purpose.

- The beginning of the game had me excited for an adventure, although I must say I find the levels feeling a little empty sometimes, lacking decorations and such but I suppose that is to not distract the player from their objective too much but would've been a nice touch.

- You start the game with only a few moves, but gradually you'll find and unlock more moves which you can use and chain together to cover greater distances or jump higher and get to new locations you couldn't before.

- Once you got most moves unlocked and know how to use them, moving around and getting to hard-to-reach places is pretty fun. :)

- I sometimes find myself getting lost in the levels and going back and forth a lot as there doesn't really seem to be a map and the layouts are sometimes a bit confusing but I ended up finishing the game in about 7 hours (you can probably do it quicker than my slow *ss).

- The game (as far as I know) only has 1 boss fight at the end, which can be a bit of an difficulty spike.
It also lasts a bit longer than I would've liked to but overall, it was decent.

- The game has some nice and dreamy music, although can be a little repetitive once it loops a few times but the dreamy aesthetic honestly makes up for it.

- Options on graphics are unfortunately pretty limited, controls afaik also cannot be rebinded but you can turn on/off some of the retro effects.

Wished the game was a little longer with more content and variation but it's good for what it is tbh.
It's a small and simple game so don't expect a big masterpiece of a game.
It's a fun game if you want to experience some nostalgia and play something that reminds you of Metroid or Mario 64 to kill some time which is why I recommend it.

This game was most certainly made for a specific type of person.
I'm a rather patient person, raging out isn't really my thing though the game does certainly test your ability in something.

The only way forward is to take time and think about how you will get over an certain obstacle.
The game teaches you to focus on what is and not on what will be or could be.

As frustrating as making mistakes and falling down can be, the best way to deal with it is to simply keep calm and get back up.
Life is all about falling over and getting back up again after all.

After beating the game, beating it again became more fun and more doable.
The more you repeat beating the game, the less afraid of failing you become.
Your experience helps you climb even faster and makes you more willing to do risky moves to move forward more efficiently.

Kinda just like in real life, isn't it?

This game is a work of art, a lesson and a journey all in one.
But it takes a strong and stable mentality to progress forward.
If you feel like it's getting on your nerves, take a step back and breathe or pause for a moment.

Absolutely amazing and beautiful game.

I recently bought a new PC with an RTX 40 ti series in it after my laptop sorta crapped itself which allowed me to crank up the graphics to the absolute max to get a cinematic experience.

The story of a father and son going on a adventure has many moments.
The dialogue I could listen to for hours and the boss battles are amazing with wonderful and epic soundtracks.

The graphics, cutscenes and animation is very well done, props to all the artists and animators out there who worked on this game.
The cutscenes really feel like I'm watching a movie of some sorts.

The gameplay takes a slightly different path from traditional GoW experience but still holds true to the game.
The older games were slightly more beat-em-up kind of deal while this game takes a slightly more hack-n-slash turn, mixed with some RPG elements such as upgrading your gear and comparing stats to keep it interesting.

It's also a bit more open world than previous GoW games I've played.
The environments look stunning, again; the artists did amazing.
There is some optional side quests you can do with a challenge.

Game is also pretty stable, I've rarely ran into any bugs or glitches that are note-worthy.
The performance is great, even on max graphics (I ended up capping the frame rate because otherwise my PC would get very warm, with my RTX card I got well over 240 - 300 FPS with everything on max).

I heavily recommend this game, it's worth the price tag.
I wish it was a bit longer but still great none the less.
one of the best games I've played so far with a great story and fun, balanced gameplay.

Great game, looks and feels realistic.
It's unnerving but not really scary, if you're looking for a game where you can just explore peacefully without having monsters chasing you then this is the one.
Just walk around and see it for yourself, enjoy the ambience and atmosphere.

Although I must say, it's a bit poorly optimized.
The graphics settings do not seem very effective at all, changing them barely affects the quality and performance.
My computer (which should be able to run this just fine) struggles at sustaining a stable frame rate.

Most people would likely tell you to "Get a better computer", but you shouldn't be needing a powerful computer to run this in the first place (besides, it's expensive).
Most scenes aren't that complex and don't have that many objects.

Mushrooms are epic.
