This is a great DLC for stellaris!

A planet destroying weapon? Yes, please!

A massive ship that improves all of your ship, or harms enemy ships! Definitly!

A few new starbase buildings? Of course!

This DLC adds all those in, and, well, that is what it adds. If it wasn't for the Planet Destroying Weapon, I wouldn't recomend it, but, come on! A planet destroying weapon!

However, ultimatly, it's your choice!

Is it free: Yes

However, it is just a waste of hard drive space!

While it might seem fun, it is beyond dificult, grindy, and just not enjoyable.

Do I recomend it? NO!

Ok, I'll be 100% Honest, I'm a bit addicted. I think this might be my favorite game. If you want to make a small empire that is extremly powerful, feel free to! You want a large one that spans the galaxy, well, I whish you luck! The larger it is, the more expinsiive it gets, but the more powerful it is. What you do is Your Choice!

I have Almost gotten a functinal empire! I can actually make a functional one, unlike cities skylines... (Through no fault of them) (But I digress...)

Are there issues, yes. I have yet to find them yet, but there are. However, I have yet to find anything game breaking!

I personally recomend it, but ultimatly, it's your choice.

Addition: Been out for a little over half a decade, and still being worked on! It's good to see that all the updates aren't just in the form of DLC's, but also free updates!

Very enjoyable!

It has a very steep learning curve, and I think a better turtorial would be nice, but it's still quite enjoyable to learn how to do it on your own!

You can make very intricit bases, homes, anything you want!

You can be military based, research based, community based, enjoynment based, whatever you want!

I definatly recomend it, but, ultimatly, it's your choice!

Okay, I recomended it. However, after some playing, I realized something. This game is addictive, manipulates you subconsicly, is a waste of time, and has no end. Is it worth the free price? NO! They should pay you, so you loose less money to the micotransactions. In otherwords? NO!

Really fun game.

A tad bit difficult to learn, but, that's what Creative is for! It is quite enjoyable, and, well, there is so many posible combinations.

I personaly would like more planets, but, well, I'll survive, and, maybe they will add them in later!

Okay, game-wise, it's nice, and I would recomend it. However, I spent a lot of money on it, and, like Keen has done to all of their other games, they abandoned it half done. They removed most visible bugs, slapped a "Released" Sticker on it, and called it done. They released the code a few months ago as an "update". Now, if that was all, they just abandon it, I would be fine to have left my recomendation as-is. But, they have started working on a new version, which you can bet they will charge more for, and people who bought this expecting what was in that new game, will have to buy that one if they want. The only thing that is keeping this game semi-active is a super-active moding community, but not even that is fully enough!

Ultimatly, if you are fine with a game that has areas that are half-finished, and will never be finished, I definitly recommend it because the mechanics are fun. But, I can't, honestly, recomend the game as a whole, and that just breaks my heart.

It's an enjoyable game, I'll give it that. However, it has enough lore to get in the way of things (You can't do this, because...) But, there isn't enough lore to make it worth that other lore.

It's enjoyable often, however at times the lore gets in the way, but it's just confusing. Things aren't always well documented, and the controls are quite counter intuitive, and the game mechanics with the 'how to put units into play on the board' is super frustrating at first...it gets better...but still stays on the level of annoying.^^

I, therefore, would say I recommend this game, but not 100%. Probaly an 7.6/ 10 stars.

Just a few days ago (March first I think), I went back to see if it had gotten better, but no, it's gotten worse

Now, instead of it being dificult to spawn things in, it's nearly imposible, instead of it being hard to get into builds, you glitch through! Went from a "I need an "It's Okay" feature" to "This game is horrible..."

Maybe when I chech next year...

CTH2004 from 2024: gotten much better, I stand corrected!

It's semi dificult to use, but I find it quite enjoyable. I would deffinatly recommend geting it.

Also, there's a lot of mechanics, and there are many more coming!

But, utlimatly, it's your choice!
