Valheim is an amazing combination of a Builder/Survival & Action/RPG. Minimum survival mechanics that are actually pretty fun to manage. Combat is fast paced and comparable to DarkSouls. Ranged and melee combat with a variety of weapons to attack . Movement, combat, & gameplay are all smooth. Very much a feeling of 3rd shooter in regards to responsiveness and movement. You actually level individual skills to the extent that skills like, running, sneaking, and even jumping are cultivated. Content expands from a starting feel of a minecraft which quickly accelerates into a high paced survival builder that offer a massive variety of enemies and adventures. Be prepared to build your way across the ocean and explore 10 different biomes including water. At only 1gb this game is insanely huge. Pack a lunch if you intend to explore the map from end to end cause your gonna need it. I would be surprised if it was doable in under a day without a serious system or use of teleportation. Yeah did I mention there are teleporters in this Viking world? Even the music is on point!! The lore does a good job of serving as an engaging mystery that doesn't force the player into paying anymore attention then it wants to it. The best thing I would say that makes this game stand out in a sea of games like it is the ability to level a persistent character that can carry loot from server to server. This aspect makes the PvP as enjoyable as games like Rust, Escape from Tarkov without crossing over into games like Hunt:Showdown or DayZ. Overall I give this game an almost perfect 5 out of 5. To be inappropriately exact I would say... 4.9853333 repeating of course >.>

Great concept and execution. Very impressed with the dev team and their minigame system. To be able to determine and understand how long it takes to do the mini games and give the players the ability to control how long it takes to do tasks shows a level of polish & play testing you don't see often. Great job guys!

Great casual game to play with friends! 9/10. Need to fix hacker issues though

I will change my review if they rectify the situation, but this game stinks of scams. Had a situation where I was bait and swapped on their in game store (when using real world moneys to purchase in-game content)... As of 2/16/2020 they haven't done anything about it.

If you like Clash Royale you will like this game its very much the same combat mechanics but this studio has done a good job making a unique experience and the art style is something that references a 90s montage of mobs we would see in some of the most popular RTS. Keep it up guys!
