Quality multiplayer

Good deal for the sale price. Nice if you want to play something relaxing after smashing your second monitor.

Would be the greatest game of all time if there was a *little* bit more brainwashing

You are Potatoman. You seek the troof. Game includes 30 minutes of troof seeking fun for the whole family. Could buy a few real potatoes and make dinner for the price of $4.00, but $0.59 is a steal for this breathtaking experience.

Feels like the game Monster Party but actually fun and beatable by human standards. Had a much better time blowing $5.00 on this than renting a movie, even if it is a bit one the short side.

Pros:

Cons:

-Mediocre basic enemy sprite work

Plays like a shovelware superhero beatum up, except with tight as ♥♥♥♥ controls and all without the garbage inbetween battles and sidemissions, leaving only a stream of creative bossfights.

Pros:
-Great OST
-Controls tighter than my gf's ♥♥♥♥♥
-Solid cel shading
-Decent replayability
-Good voice over work
-Creative boss designs


Cons:
-Bit short, beat the game in about 6 hours
-Most of the story is delivered in 3rd person walking sim esque sections that get tedious very fast
-Occasional clipping
-Bosses tend to repeat lines often
-The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sniper boss

Really solid twin stick shooter with tight controls and a fairly good soundtrack. Don't expect to hear any Jake Kaufman tier music, but it still gets the job done better than most. The controls can feel a bit floaty compared to similar titles like Nuclear Throne or Gungeon, but you quickly get used to it. Switching between weapons feels absolutely fantastic and most of them reward you for combing them together. The art direction is a bit lackluster in some areas such as the playable character desgin, but is overall pretty alright. Not personally a fan of the low polly 3D style but they did a fair job. Only real complaint is the strange battery mechanic, that seems to punish you for doing seemingly nothing. Replacing a tradional health bar with this new mechanic feels like the devs trying to re-invent the wheel.

Pretty much the perfect example of how to make a good turn based strategy game. XCOM fans will feel very comfortable with the mechanics in place. One strange downside is that the game has a fantastic OST by Steam Powered Giraffe but rarely uses it, and the standard combat track gets old very fast.

Really good compact experience. Could probably benefit from a few more enemy types and/or boss fights and 60$ is a bit of a steep asking price.
