Man, this game is awesome. The base gameplay is just great. The movement is super snappy, the abilities are cool, and the guns just FEEL amazing to shoot. Each boss is unique and fun to fight, their mechanics are interesting and are designed in a way that you can quickly pick up on them without needing to die just learning how they work. The enemies aren't too annoying, and most of them are really fun to fight. But sometimes, you just get spammed with so much AOE, it's crazy. Like, in some rooms, especially in the fields map, you step in and you're flooded with AOE, and nowhere is safe except going back to the last room. That's my only big issue with the combat.

The maps are fun, but they’re not as randomly generated as I thought they would be. Each map gives you the same entries and exits every run, so you get used to them really fast. It's not a huge problem because the first half of each run has great branching pathways to keep things interesting. I love how varied each run can be just from a few choices on where to go. But, that stops halfway through. Once you get to Haven City, there are no options and it gets old fast. I'm still having a blast, but I wish the game kept the same variety in the second half as it does in the first half.

The upgrade system feels kinda pointless. It seems like a way to just pad out time while learning the game before tackling higher difficulties. It doesn’t take long to get enough points for all the upgrades, which makes me wonder, what's the point? Why make me play 5 hours of the game feeling meh because I don’t have enough upgrades for a good build? I would have either removed the wrench upgrade system or made it much faster to max out. Not a fan of that part.

Overall, 9/10, very fun, has its issues, but dang, I'm addicted. This is the most fun I’ve had shooting the same enemies in the same rooms since Halo 3. Highly recommend this game!

Somehow infinite has less content 9 months after launch than halo reach did at launch.
- No co op
- No forge
- No PvE gamemode
- No party playlists
- Very few free armors
Not only do you get less content but the game flaunts itself as a "free" game, however to play the campaign you still need to pay 60 bucks. This is just a scummy way for the devs to be forgiven for all their mistakes, if the multiplayer was free you would expect the other half of the game to cost, ya know half the price but its still a full 60 bucks.

If multiplayer is your thing and you don't care about the campaign there are still many issues. There is no level system, there is a huge lack of playlists and there are a total of 10 maps. This is all if you can get a game that doesn't have connection issues, melees almost never work properly, hit detection is whack, and sometimes damage doesn't even get registered. Most likely you won't get a good connection, big team battle was broken for 2 weeks before 343 was able to fix it, goes to show you where this live service is going.

This game is a shallow cash grab by 343. There is no excuse for halo reach to have more content at launch than halo infinite does

This game is fun and all but becasue of the cosmetics system I can not recomend it. It takes hours just to get a crate then you have you hope to god the crate you get doesn't need a key but the odds of that a skewed against you. Once you get your crate that you can open without a key you will most lickly get 4 duplicates of the same walmart jeans.

80 Hours on this game and I don't have any consmetics outside what you would find in your local thrift store. This game is microtransaction cosmetics taken to its extreme
