I hope my review will tip the scales from "Mixed" because I genuinely enjoyed this DLC. The pictures are incredibly detailed and balanced with only two colors on each page. I really enjoyed the larger, more contrasting pictures (I was most impressed by the composition on the last page). To make an informed buying decision, look at the preview pictures on the store page. If it looks like something you can get behind (interesting, contrasting, limited color pallet), then this is a pretty solid $.99 buy.

Edit: Since writing this review I've purchased more than 15 DLC packs - most of which I would recommend.

Original Review: Most of the pictures are fun and satisfying to put together. It's when you've exhausted those you reach the big ones. I'm probably in the minority on this one, but the big ones that take weeks to complete are such a drag. Tons of DLC, of which I've purchased none - there's too much to sift through and I always forget to research which ones I might like during sales. I recommend this game on the premise that it's free and offers a lot of free content. Try it and play it until you've exhausted your enjoyment of it.

Brotato is really fun, but I've had so many problems with the game crashing on startup, using Steam Link, and controller disconnects while playing that it's almost hard to recommend others buy it for themselves.

Steam told me I might like this game based on other games I've played. Steam was correct. Easy to pickup, tough to master.

Tiles have 6 sides and a handful of things that can go on a tile (as far as I can tell they're randomly generated) so it's up to you to find the best spot for whichever tile you're served until you're out. Two kinds of quests pop up as you play, either prompting you to link a certain amount of stuff together (like, link 10 trees together as an example), or having you close off what you've already made with the proper tile type. Completing quests gets you more tiles, more tiles gets you more points, and that's the loop.

My high score after 14 hours was about 14,000 - which felt like a herculean task and an impossible feat (I told my wife about it at dinner knowing she wouldn't care but I was THAT excited) - however I've seen numbers much higher and I'm actually quite low on the leader board. I don't believe there will be a day that will pass by without me playing at least one round.

I tentatively recommend this game. It's fun, and I like playing it with my friends. I don't like the forced online, the locking of progression if you just want to play alone, and I'm weary about the expensive season pass and future monetization the developer will try to get away with.

I love this game. Wish I would have played more with my friends though, lonely alone.

This is a very good game - even more fun with friends and mods.

It's great, but I like it a lot from the original beta and release that my friends and I all played together. It hasn't advanced in a long time, and for that reason I can't recommend it. We also all lost our original accounts when they changed developers, meaning a lot of our time and money vanished.

It's super fun!

One of the best games I've ever played. You start every run with nothing but the skills of the character you chose. Once you get rolling though, you turn into a god.
