I cannot really describe how good this game is. It is a story that I cannot compare to another. One that I recommend everybody to experience. Without caveats. Play it. Hekki Grace.

Viewfinder is a game where it is easy to say it is a good game, but difficult to recommend to others.
The Visual Design of the game is beautiful, and in parts absolutely stunning. On a technical level the game is an absolute miracle, that is very difficult for me to comprehend. The Puzzles introduce new elements very often to keep themselves fresh, and the story has a lot of heart, and the message it tries to convey is important.

But.

While the puzzles introduce new elements often, it never feels like it fully explores them, but instead quickly discards them for a new element. While it is easy to say, there should just be more puzzles, i dont think that is the problem. In my opinion the puzzles that are there just start to leave the part where it stops to introduce the mechanic and start to become interesting, before the element is dropped, and you get ushered on to the next world with new elements, that dont really build on top the previous, but start teaching you a new mechanic. This makes the puzzle part of the game feel a bit shallow.
While i like the story it was trying to tell, i think it stumbles a bit while trying to execute it. But I wont go into spoilers here. The game is split into different hub worlds, where each world contains levels about a new puzzle element, and simultaneously tells us about one person of the story. Exploring these hub worlds is great, since they are filled with so much detail and love for the character, that just by looking around you get a feel for the person. But the game also has this told to you by a narrator. This robs it a lot of the intrigue, since a lot of stuff is pointed out to you. And when the story is explained like this it loses a lot of its charm. While i dont think the narrator should be removed, as other people suggest, i still think if the game had handled the narrator differently it would have improved the game. It often feels like the narrator talks at you not with you. While this is difficult to achieve a natural sounding dialog with a silent protagonist on the other end games like portal, or talos principles have shown that it is possible. But i cannot bring myself to actually dislike the story, since it seems to come from a very honest place.

Even though i have my problems with the puzzledesign, and how the story is executed, i recommend the game with the caveat to not set your expectations to high.

A game that by itself is really good, but gets elevated to a new Level by the community created content.
Also not a bad workout.

Antichamber is a puzzle game with a few platforming elements.
It stands out with its use of non eucledian geometry, which can be disorienting at first, but are very satisfying once you get the hang of it.
I really like its use of the world as the teacher of its mechanics. No mandatory tutorial will bog down your experience in this game.
But that also means you have to figure things out by yourself, so if you get frustrated when stuck i would not recommend this game to you. Luckily if you ever get stuck there are usually 5 other paths you can go down on.

So all in all i recommend this game for its Puzzles and it Map, which is something i have not seen like this in another game.

Big problem i noticed when upgrading my pc. It does not run well on amd graphics cards, no matter how powerfull. Something to do with Nvidia physix driver. Framerates drop down to 10 frames despite my Radeon 5700 xt.

Edit: The newest driver of Amd Fixed the Framerateproblems

A Simple fun game you can play if you have to kill 2 minutes. And it offers a lot for 3 bucks.

This game has everything you need.

-Beautifull Soundtrack

-Graphics that qualify as art

-Massive and beautifull story but you might miss parts of it accidentally. (Only Critique)

-The Gameplay is tactical and/or skillbased. If you want you can modify your build to fit either gameplay style.

This game is one of the best i have ever played. You should definitly buy it.
