i REALLY REALLY love this game:
I am almost 20 hours in and yet i haven't even beaten half of the story.
Here is my SPOILER FREE review!

there is SO MUCH TO DO. so much loot to explore, so many sick guns to find and use.
So many NPCS with stories to tell, staches with lore on who owned them, and a vast open world filled with danger to explore. Mutants, blood suckers, and random anomalies fill the zone making every step outside of a "safe haven" for lack of a better term, not safe. Inventory management is a MUST. Or you will end up in a gun fight without ammo, or miles away from a trader with a full backpack and really slow movement. Guns can jam on you, and straight up just break. Which adds an extra layer of "oh ♥♥♥♥!" when something goes wrong in a gunfight.

The game does have its issues however.
it is VERY VERY poorly optimized. I can go from 80fps down to sub 20 fps during an intense gunfight with bullets wizzing past and grenades blowing up. NPCS in the "safe havens" can, and WILL glitch out. They block doors making it impossible to access story missions and quest locations, you cant push them around, or even shoot them because they are in a "safe" area where we cant have our weapons out, Needing me to reload a save causing me lose an hours worth of progress and exploration. Sometimes killing an NPC causes their body to jolt around, tossing their gun straight into the heavens. making it impossible to collect their ammo. nothing game breaking really.

The stalker franchise REALLY needed a new installment, and this game is a great addition to an already great franchise. Hearing all the beeps, boops, and other sounds from the STALKER universe brought chills down my spine as i remembered playing the other games, and experiencing stalker for the first time in 2007.

HOWEVER: i have yet to hear one single NPC shout "CHEEKI BREEKI IV DAMKE"
which is really sad.

i do recommend this game, especially if you have a newer system, where you can brute force the low fps issues.

i FINALLY got around to playing this game,
i am SO glad i did. it was SO worth it,

this game is EASILY one of the best single player experiences to DATE.
and it's like that for the OG re4 as well.
the game play is so smooth and solid. the kicks feel hefty and the guns feel lethal.
and i LOVE it when Leon picks up someone and then tombstone slams them into the ground.
its so brutal.
and so are the death sequences, they are almost as brutal as the dead space deaths.
Leon got ripped in half by one of the armored giants and my girlfriend SQUEALED when she saw it.

the game isn't too lengthy, it took me about 17 hours to finish.
But i was going for all side tasks, collectibles, and mini bosses.
and an additional few hours in the mercenary arcade mode.
you can blast though this game in half that time if you don't go for the side stuff.

only had one real game breaking bug where a door closed and i got stuck IN the door, and couldn't move or open it.
my only dislikes are more nitpicks. i didn't really like the Ada Wong actress, she felt very "phoned in"
like she was just someone reading a script in a library, didn't really feel like she put effort in.
but that's just me. you can Always mod the game to fix that so it is what it is.

this game is easily a 9.9/10.
i bought this game on humble bundle or something with all of the other remakes, so i got to enjoy those as well.

-----HOLD OFF YOUR PITCHFORKS AND HEAR ME OUT----

---------MY OVERALL THOUGHTS ON TCP, TLDR AT END------------
i DO recommend TCP.
Despite the frame and stutter issues on launch, *which i didnt really have*,
the game is really good.
if you DO still have FPS ISSUES, just play on DX11 like i did.

it isnt ANYWHERE near as good as the OG Dead-space (or as scary as)
this game feels more like a "dead-space clone" instead of its own unique IP.
which is NOT a bad thing at all. it just feels very "try hard"
if the game was "Dead space 4, The Callisto protocol" with a whole new storyline, characters, and enemies
itd make more sense. and would just FEEL right,
but since it isnt, it just feels like its trying so hard to BE dead-space.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
the gameplay loop is a bit uh.. interesting.
its different thats for sure.
instead of just shooting with your gun,
the game wants you to get in close, wack them with a stick and then the gun autolocks onto the target.
which isnt a bad concept, until youre REALLY out-numbered, and dont have the time or space to do that.
melee combo, lock on, shoot and repeat.
but trying that when you have 7 enemies all grouped up on you, good luck.
unless youve MASTERED the spawns and mechanics in 3 days you wont really make it out flawlessly.
----------------------------------------------------------------
the gameplay is fun, the boss fights are fun, the character deaths are BRUTAL.
i remember in one scene an enemy spawned behind me, grabbed my throat,
and beat my face until it literally caved in on itself. which was totally metal.
----------------------------------------------------------------
TLDR:
id give the game a 7/10
the game feels more like a more melee heavy dead-space clone, which isnt bad.
it doesnt really feel "new game worthy" ya know? just make a new dead-space.
its really not a bad game, but just go buy the dead-space remake/remaster coming out in January.

DEAR FELLOW FUTANARI ENTHUSIASTS

holy JESUS
was by far the HOTTEST game i have ever played and witnessed IN MY LIFE
all of the girls were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING
and the voice acted parts were GODLY
when Rachel showed up and started DOMMING US OUT OF NO WHERE
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i was drooling all over my keyboard
being a MAJOR sub she had me
---S--- Q--- U--- I--- R--- M ---I--- N ---G---
IF THERE ARE ANY DOMMY MOMMIES LIKE RACHEL READING THIS
PLEASE FUDGING ADD ME

---SUMMARY---
you play as Emily, a girl who used to be a WILD partier, who had lots of friends, and actively took part in
"no panties friday"
who is now a shy, laid back, timid girl, who just magically woke up a FUTA with one of the hottest COnCKs
i have ever seen in visual novels -P- E- R -I- O -D -
and is super afraid of her co workers and others finding out
which lead to them all finding out anyway

---PROS---
SEXY AS ALL HELL ARTWORK, ANIMATIONS, AND SOUNDS
[the images, cg animations, sound design, all lead to one of the best experiences of a VN i've ever had
VOICE ACTING WAS VERY WELL DONE
[the moans, whimpers, panting, grunts, everything had me acting UP, almost as if there were actual girls
[in the room next to me moaning and whimpering, which just made me sad because it will never happen
GREAT STORY TELLING AND PATHS
[the story for all of the relationship paths, and over-all ARC of the whole game was quite an experience
[it was a VERY unique story experience, and i will go more in depth towards the end

it was a VERY good experience, just sit back, grab your lube and tissues and wank away

---CONS---
NOT EVERY GIRL/PATH HAD ANIMATIONS
[out of around 5 or so girls and relationship paths, only about 2 or 3 of them had animations
[where as 1 girl had EVERY SCENE animated, for almost a total of 5 or more animations just for her
[ i wish every girl/path had multiple animations, instead of 2 girls getting 1 animation, and 1 girl getting 5
[it lead to a weird feeling when my personal favorite girl had NO animations, and just felt very left out
ONLY ONE GIRL WAS A FUTA >:C
[this is more of a nitpick, but i honestly thought this was a vn about a diner full of futas, and them all smashing
i had no other REAL issues with this game other than screenshots not working, and the usual issues of a
"partially" voice acted VN, where the MC had a voice acted line, but the other person didnt, and it just lead to about 10
minutes of silence sometimes, and a weird feeling of conversations being "one sided" at other times
but i cant really complain when the girls started moaning, grunting, and making some HELLA lewd noises in my headphones

---TLDR---
it was a very pleasant VN experience, with the cons being so minor/small it was almost just me nitpicking
the girls were hot, the animated sex scenes were absolutely orgasmic

---SPOILERS IN THE NEXT LINES---
this game went from shy diner waitress, to being topped by an absolute UNIT of a dommy mommy, to an Egyptian cat goddess wanting our semen for world conquest in about 3 hours
---SPOILERS OVER---

i give this game an honest 7.9 or 8/10
just sit back, let the story and sex do the talking, and jack/jill off till your knees are weak like mine were
probably my best orgasm to a VN ever
and feel free to stop by my profile <3
im a degenerate who loves futas
just like you!!

EDIT: i am down BAD
i had to relive this game multiple times

eh, far cry 5 was WAYY better
and waayyy longer, but it was supposed to be
its only half the game far cry 5 was, for about half the price so i cant be too mad

the twins were NOTHING compared to Joseph seed

The twins were evil "just cuz" and by the time it came to actually kill them, i was left with a very sour taste of
"well that was anticlimactic"
The boss fight was not hard, they just had A LOT of health, and i hate it when boss fights are like that
i went through every single one of my companions before i made a single scratch on the twins

i give this game a 7/10
it had some graphics bugs here and there,
some times where facial animations were absolutely messed up

buy this game on a sale like i did
its a nice short and semi fun game
it took around 24hrs total
for me to 100% the game, with some of that time i was messing around with photo mode or afk

*This review is an edit off of my OLD review

after about a year and some change after my OLD review
i have decided to update my thoughts on the game

Bungie has 100% stepped up and brought out the BIG GUNS
*cough* *cough*
they upped their anti-cheat, cheaters are no longer dominating the PvP scene
and with them SUING cheat makers, cheat makers are too afraid to keep producing them
their content is no longer just a bunch of re-skinned older content
where as it PAINS me to know that they are removing older content,
but its a necessary evil in order to get us out of the "past" and into the "future"

Bungie just released their 30th anniversary content and i wont spoil it for anyone who reads,
ill leave a small teaser
--"i need a weapon"--
this content is amazing, the new dungeon is very intense and unique. and do NOT get me started on the music
the new 6 player activity is probably the best one to date, and even brings in some new elements for
our good friend Xur.
The new activity is basically a "gameshow" and we are in it, to win it.

the darkness: aka STASIS has been toned down, like WAYYY down and is no longer the bulldozer it used to be, and the older sub classes are being tuned UP to be more along with how powerful stasis still is.

my overall score comes back up to a 7/10 -ign

it is hard to recommend to new players, with them deleting all the old and entry level content
and its just hard to pick the game up and get caught up

but its still a fun experience none the less,
if anyone does pick it up, do bring friends!
the experience gets better from there

let me just begin this review talking about the whole "its going to be on the epic store only for one year" thingy
that was a really dicc move man
i hope that the 50% increase in PHYSICAL copies than the previous entry was worth it, but then again you guys made money so good job i guess

-------------------------------here is the actual review---------------------------

tbh im not a fan of the open world aspect, finding safe houses, clearing out "creature caves" for better loot etc and ive found a few bugs exploring to find all the secrets, sometimes it would just advance my story randomly, even though i never went to the obj, one example is in the sand/desert area, i had accidently found the "baron" on my own while exploring, and then it just forced the story to catch up to me, even though i was a solid 5 missions behind, and i could never go back to drive the car and etc

-------------------------------------------gameplay-------------------------------------
i absolutely love the new mechanics, having to clean the gun, not use a gun to often or it will jam and break, the crafting/reparing your gas mask and gear all of it is just perfect, and it puts a fresh breath on an already amazing series, the gun play is just amazing, depending on whatever difficulty you pick, the AI isnt that bad, they aren't the easiest, but they arent the hardest either, a perfect blend of skill and resource management will help you win those fights easy peasy, just choose your shots and do some observation first, you never know when you kill a guy, and another one sees him from around a corner you didnt know about

---------------------------------------- story -----------------------
i was honestly skeptical about the whole "you can finally breathe outside of the metro" thing, but when i started to play it and found out it is only in certain areas. I'm glad they kept the usual multiple endings, it adds ALOT of replay value, you can play the game multiple times and get different experiences, you can play the game loud and proud, and then boom some characters die when they would have lived if you played stealthily, some scenes that were in the E3 trailers, reveals, etc are in the final product, however they are slightly changed, for instance the scene here at 4:13 on the actual trailer https://youtu.be/fbbqlvuovQ0?t=253 you are pulled into the train by anna, your wife, but in the game you are pulled in by Anna's dad instead, and its in the nighttime instead of daytime

so far id say im about 60% done with the story i have about 2 more "complete mission ____" achievements and some secret ones ill have to go back and play again to get, i have more than a days worth of time in this game and im loving every second of it
i rate this a solid 8.5/10 i HIGHLY reccomend

*i didnt rate a 9 or higher because i had to completely restart the desert mission because of that bug i mentioned earlier**
