It needs some work, needs a little more love. I feel bad for console players, but there was a lot of time, love, and tears put into the game. Executives just didn't give enough time, and an extreme lack of patient players resulted in the bugs we see today. They are slowly being patched out. I'm not a fan of live service games, but I have faith that CDPR will pull through.

Give it a chance. I think you'll enjoy it, I haven't experienced any Game Breaking bugs, most bugs I've seen takes away a little immersion, but I was drawn back in fairly quickly.

Quick Review:

I don't have much time played, just to make that clear.

Look at the Screenshots or Watch a video before you purchase.

I'm a huge fan of Civilization, but to me it feels like Civ:VI was created to make Civ:V look better.

Cartoony Graphics, almost they were going for a Hearthstone atmosphere.

Played for just over an hour and was already missing the flow of Civ:V. This game just feels very clunky and slower.

The Asthetics and Pace of the game just killed it for me.

Again, please look at the Screenshots and Videos.

Hope this helps - I'm going back to Civ:V

I downloaded this game about 2am last night. I played it for a total of 9-hours and even purchased some in-game currency (mistake).

Pros:

-Great Idea - Open World Zombie Survival - Sounds Great on Paper

-Lots of Weapons with a decent Crafting System

-Keeps you Occupied

Cons:

-Kill on Sight (KoS) - This game encourages other players to kill you on sight to increase their reputation and steal your loot.

-Loss of Items - When you die you lose everything, I MEAN EVERYTHING. Including items that you purchased with real money. This Encourages other players to murder you for your items. This is literally virtual mugging.

-Hackers - Hackers use a program called ESP. They will hunt you down and murder you for your items and their entertainment. They know exactly where you are at, and often use an aimbot to kill you instantly. 50-60% of the players cheat in some fashion.

-Only PvP there are no PvE servers offered. Every second you spend in this game you run the risk of being murdered for the items that you have spent countless hours looting.

-Pay to Win - Items in this game cost alot of ingame currancy to purchase. For example: One magazine of 9mm Ammo almost costs $1000. You can use real money to purchase the ammo, or find it the hardway and risk getting murdered since you didn't purchase a weapon to protect yourself.

-Servers are Terrible - I purchased the Premium Account only to never be able to connect to he premium servers. I had a difficult time connecting to normal servers as well.

-Communication - No one want to communicate in game because the are too hellbent on killing you.

-Joining a Group - Players will invite you to a group only so they can see your location so they can come kill you.

-Literally Getting Thrown to the Wolves - This game has been out long enough that any new players are so far behind on loot and experience that they will literally be man handled with no remourse by hackers and more experienced players wanting your Granola Bars and Flashlight.

In conclusion, this game had great potential but lost it during developement. The fact that this game promotes real money purchases only to be stolen from you by hackers that are increasing their in-game reputation is rediculous. You will have fun in this game as long as you're not being murdered for what little you have looted every 10 minutes.

DO NOT BUY!
