Pros:
Playing with the 3rd person mod makes this game a must-play adding much immersion (especially for those that like games with customization). With the mod, it plays like a more complete World War Z clone. Make sure to download all recommended companion mods so that aiming feels natural.

Both melee and ranged combat is very satisfying in this game. There is an extremely small amount of bullet sponge enemies as basic and elite enemies are all able to be killed in 1-4 shots.

Cons:
The biggest downside I've found is the inability to play solo lobbies. The game does not always hold your hand while walking through missions. About a quarter to a third of players (especially new players) don't seem to follow the objective causing a much much higher chance of getting downed and failing the mission. This is not a forgiving game.

Ghost Mode: One-life hardcore mode where your AI teammates stand on top of you and don't revive you

Only game I have seen that charges full price of $60+ USD and still shoves microtransactions at their customers. Their lack of competition allows them to rinse and repeat the same game each year.

The added feature this year is that MyCareer games crash either halfway through or at the very end of the game- requiring you to replay the entire game.

Not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews for this. However, ubisoft connect is completely unnecessary.

In terms of gameplay, I will say that this is so much more immersive than its predecessor. It feels a lot more like a military rpg while continuing the overarching setting of a large map with compounds to clear out. With over 100 hours on Wildlands, I can say that they unexpectedly fixed almost every annoyance I had with the game. If fact, I probably would have purchased this at full price if I knew how much they changed. Driving is enjoyable instead of a clunky mess. Clothing item colors save as the last chosen for that item when switching back and forth. They added in a Division/RPG-like (optional) weapon and gear ranking system. There is also some freedom to create custom difficulties which is a plus for me personally. In essence, there are many minor to medium fixes that greatly improve quality of play.

It's rare to see Ubisoft incorporate as much change as they did, and I hope to see more of this in the future!

One of the most enjoyable survival games I've played. The slight horror aspect adds a unique experience.

You're experience will almost be completely based on the people who play along with you. Some run away, others only destroy bases. Definitely play with a friend!

Bought the game when full price at $60. Enjoyed it a bit, but didn't get too far. Somehow someone tried to hack into my account, and my account was banned without me playing for months(this ban happened recently, I haven't played for at least a year).. The emails claim you can submit a ticket if the ban was caused by someone else or a hack.... yet you cannot login to the site after ban.. Thank you for the waste of $60 that is now free.

Better than Left 4 Dead for sure!
