Dungreed feels sorta like Binding of Gungeon Legacy. It's a metroidvania roguelite that combines a lot of fun action-platforming features and mechanics with Gungeon-eseque fantasy-style graphics. A variety of weapons, items, enemies, and challenges with different mechanics keeps the gameplay interesting.

Common cons and complaints include controls (requires rebinding which Steam can manage), progression, and replayability. The game has had sporadic but continued support. It has a workshop, but the content is largely cosmetic. Some community mods address gameplay issues like power scaling.

I recommend it at half-off or more. It's worth keeping on your wishlist and waiting for a sale.

I stopped playing Destiny 2 a while ago. It was fun for a while, but it became evident to me that Bungie didn't really give much of a crap about its playerbase when they started pulling content/campaigns then nerfing anything from those campaigns that players had ALREADY PAID FOR. And yes, I PAID FOR IT before the game went F2P. I'm not mad about the game going F2P, more so about Bungie taking the content that I paid for. That's the reason for my negative review, not the recent drama.

I'm not surprised that Bungie is keeping up that tradition, and continuing to anger and screw over the playerbase. I was a long-time fan of Halo, as many gamers are, but Halo Infinite...was INFINITELY DISAPPOINTING. That's on Microsoft, though. Bungie has plenty of their own stank to answer for. I will seriously hesitate before purchasing or investing time in another Bungie game.

Skryim VR brings the popular massive open-world action RPG to virtual reality. It almost feels like you're living Skyrim instead of just playing it. I haven't even modded this yet and it's still pretty amazing. However, there are many recommended quality-of-life and eye-candy mods.

You can find recommended tweaks/mods/etc. here:

Manual movement is best for immersion and roleplaying but after about an hour of standing in manual mode, I nearly blew chunks, so I switched to sitting. (if you play sitting, adjust your player height in game settings) I have a fairly strong constitution and I still feel a little queasy. According to people who actually suffer from motion sickness or vertigo, they couldn't even take 10 minutes in manual mode, they could play longer in teleport mode but still got sick. Taking a Benadryl or a supplement may help. There is also a SteamVR add-on for supported VR games called Natural Locomotion.

This is an extremely boring and cookie cutter fantasy themed beat'em up. It's like if you took D&D's Tower of Doom and Shadow over Mystara (or almost any 90s beat'em up arcade game) and removed all of the fun, flavor, spells, and engaging game mechanics. The gameplay is technically solid, but it's just disappointing and boring.

Fall Guys is a bright, colorful and lighthearted party game with humorous characters that's absolutely painful to play with awful limited time rewards that are ridiculously impossible to get unless you cheat or mastered the game and started saving up crowns a year ago. And players do indeed cheat despite the fact that there aren't even currently rankings in the game.

This is a game that I want to love but currently it's more infuriating than fun. There should at least be a 50/50 split of fun and absolute rage.

There is definitely room for improvement that could be easily achieved. If this game had custom and user-made maps, I would consider changing my review to positive, even if you get limited or no rewards at all for playing them.

I like the overall concept of the game, I just don't enjoy the current implementation of it. If Steam had a "so-so" option, I'd give it that for the time being.

It's not quite Photoshop but a novel, relaxing "game" with redux painting tools, where you progressively unlock colors, tools and canvases, exhibit and buy and sell artwork in the community market, including other players' works of art.

Two works that I'm personally proud of include my Gordon Freeman and Dr. Evil portraits.

Also, that's my awe-inspiring "Mind your own Bee's nest" masterpiece that can be seen in the game trailer.

Time Fantasy is a high quality pack in the style of old school SNES Chrono Trigger. If you intend to make a full-fledged game with this here are some caveats and things that you should know before purchasing.

-This is a very popular tileset pack used both in and outside of the RPG Maker community so you may lose a sense of uniqueness in that aspect. If you commit to using this tileset, you're committing to this very specific style so unlike other expansion sets for RPG Maker MV, these resources will likely clash horribly with anything else but Time Fantasy.

-This is only a base tileset of the Time Fantasy DLC so if you're serious about making a game with this then you'll likely need to purchase additional Time Fantasy DLC either from Steam, RPG Maker website or from the creator's website.

-If you purchase this tileset pack from Steam as opposed to Itch or the creator's website, the Steam version is licensed ONLY for use with RPG Maker/Enterbrain/Degica products.

-If you can't tell from the screenshots, these are pixel art style tiles, reminiscent of SNES. Do not expect stunning HD quality if you upscale your game.

-These tiles do not have full auto-tile compatibility, which means you'll need to do quite a bit of shift-mapping, which can be a bit tedious and confusing for new RPG Maker users.

-You will likely need to create your own additional tile assets in the same style of this pack. Some tiles may require modification or adjusting. The creator does provide many templates and additional tilesets for free on his website.

-Weirdly...this pack contains no bushes. Trees, stumps, grass bits, flowers, etc. but not a single bush.

-This pack contains no icons. Those are contained in the Fort and Fauna DLC.

I'm not using this for my current game but it's a nice inspiration.

Aseprite is the photoshop for pixels. It's a great successor to past pixel editing programs like IDraw and Graphics Gale, both popular in the game development community. Aseprite boasts numerous features for artists and animators alike such as layers, frames, onion skinning, animation tools and much more. The developer has also made good on promised features as well as popular feature requests. Best of all, Aseprite is fun to use! It almost feels like a game itself. The interface is pixel art inspired but readable and easy to use. For only 15 bucks, the price is definitely worth it. If it's on sale, it's a steal.

Dota 2 is a game that requires practice, patience and a positive attitude to succeed. While the basic fundamental principles of the game remain unchanged from its earliest incarnation, the meta and dynamic is constantly and ever-changing. Of all the major RTS/MOBA games on the market, Dota 2 provides the most challenging, in depth and unique experience.

If you dream of "going pro" then Dota 2 is a game where anyone can become an e-sports legend if they've got the skill to back it up. Major tournaments including the annual International tournament have open qualifiers with no rank/MMR requirement. All you have to do is beat the competition.

Dota 2 matches can get spicy. Don't get caught up in the negativity, mom-bashing and cancer-wishing. While you're angrily banging away at your keyboard, the other team is winning. Also, Dota 2 isn't a game that holds your hand. I recommend reading Purge's Welcome to Dota, you suck[purgegamers.true.io] for all new players. You can also check out this Dota 2 Quickstart Guide on Steam.

Warning: If your free time consists of constantly raging that everyone else is ruining your life because you lost a game or claiming that you're being persecuted just because you called a *few* people a "♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" then you should uninstall immediately.
