Those two are enough for me to buy it, but i also happen to enjoy both CRPGs and tactical games. So I am sure this will end up another game I put a few hundred hours into.

I mean this review is pointless. If the 96% positive after 350k reviews doesn't sell it, then my one drop in the bucket isn't going to change that.

If you are going to waste time making a fancy character builder, you must also waste time making sure that the players hair exists in a hood.

Why do I mention this "trivial" thing? Because it is a reflection of the game as a whole. The game sells you on big things, like custom character, and then when it comes to the details, they take the lazy way out, like making your character bald under a hood.

It should be such a simple fix- the dev has the data and power to make several hairstyles and have them different colors, how hard would it be to simply pull that color data and apply it to a universal 'hood hair' that gets loaded when you equip said hood. Is it that you lack the technical power? Is this small effort not worth your time?

Just take most aspects of the game and they can be exchanged with the hair issue.

-Can't put in the effort to make the story any good. 5 cut-scenes where different people tell me how much I suck is not a story. (lets not even talk about that ending)
-Half the systems (weapon recycle/upgrade/etc) in the game aren't even in the game, but you bet your sweet ass the cash shop is.
-I swear to the god emperor himself that if Hadron opens her Vox one more time I am libel to **CENSORED FOR HERESY**
-No sense of progress at all in this game story wise. I have freed the same tank factory 20 times now.

Some of the things here wouldn't even be bad if this was a stand alone first time studio release. But coming off the back of Vermintide 2 just really shows such a step down.

Game is a legend. Been playing DF for over 10 years on and off as it grew. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a very complex detailed fantasy simulation colony sim game. Always remember 'losing is fun'

Enjoyable text based RPG, time and risk management feature is a bonus to me.

Gave me Fallout vibes. Enjoyed playing.

Betrayed by Double Fine. If you buy this for anything more than Free, you are getting ripped off.
