Great fun

On one steam an off steam is in the 1000's of hours.
I am sure that this will get removed for off topic, but anyways here it goes.

Pros:
- Air RB is fantastic (especially when playing whatever the latest vehicle before it is nerfed)
- Can be lots of fun with friends (So much yelling)
- Graphics are great (love the JJ Abrams sun flare)
- You can whale your way to top tier

Cons:
- RP / SL soft-cap (slows progress)
- Reduction of benefits for premium accounts (over time premium has become less and less worth it)
- Cost of individual premium vehicles comparable to cost of AAA game
- Economy is broken (you can loose SL just playing)
- SLOW progress (the logo for Gaijin is a snail)
- Events are a full time job commitment (not kidding) and require some RNG to complete.
- Over time progression and income progression has became worse and worse (don''t see this stopping)
- Compression is bad (you will face off versus vehicles that have no business fighting one another)
- Do not expect responsive or compassionate support

This game really sucked me back into MMO's. I really wanted it to be good. At first it is.

Here is the deal. Dev team is very out if touch. Recent changes have made crafting and gear progression infinity harder and slower. If you start now or have not been level 60 and max crafting for a while good luck making gold or ever catching up. OP classes keep getting buffs. Healing nerfs for PvP balance have made PvE that much harder while mobs and bosses were made harder. Laggy AF in wars and invasions (not that a new player is going to get picked for a war roster anyways for a long time). Every fix or update comes with other game breaking bugs. Duping and exploits have been rampent. Lots of the players (and items) are still around so there is that impact on the economy. Once you hit 60 get ready to play poverty simulator as your crafting is low, materials do not sell for much (but you need millions of materials anyway to craft so you can't really sell them anyways, not kidding it is millions).

Long story short. If you want to start playing for anything than the leveling game don't.


Edit: Just saw the proposed changes for 1.2 ... at this point I think they might even be trying to tank the game.

Starts with a cool imersive story and enviroment .... ends with no real end game content. For $35 I would say go for it, for the 70$ tag .... forget it.
