Recommended WITH A HUGE CAVEAT

great game not a 40usd game, it was poorly handled in communication and the general pacing of updates were remarkably slow. Thanks Nexon. Over the Time of this games life however a number of mechanics such as dodge rolls left and right, indomitable spirit a Faultless defense style guard, and updates to health and guard gauge have made this game genuinely fun. The damage from before has made the player base slim outside of dedicated discords or friend groups so BEWARE.

TLDR: Get this game on sale its like a 20USD or below game the player base is slim but the updates and new characters are nice.

fun snappy animation classic 2D fighting game Rollback netcode and and exhaustive pixel lobby, with a mining minigame for cosmetics. At full price recommended on sale Highly Recommended.
edit: if aspect of how the games story may grow or on the view of consistent update roll outs, I would express caution as the game we have is likely going to be the state of the game for longer periods of time that one may be used to from other fighters. Though a season pass is currently underway the game has a "adapt or die" rather than "wait for the patch" type of scheduling

I played at launch so this information will hopefully grow outdated. The idea follows that of the cycle but its constructed teams respawns and all instead of being a battle royale. My gripes at the time were the map was to large and screamed that it was probably designed with way more players in mind than the game modes given. The information for objectives or happenings on the map were less than clear with no way or working with your team effectively. You would spend way to much time doing nothing rather than fighting monsters or other players which should be a majority of time spent in an action title. The game has cool ideas and characters it just is and was nowhere near finished.
