Simply put, this game is amazing. The companions and narrative drive feel so fleshed out and compelling...until the third act. It just FEELS like the end of the game was rushed, and it's the only detractor from an otherwise perfect game. From parts feeling completely missing, to an illusion of choice ending, to a bug riddled act 3, I just can't help feel like it was all rushed.

I love this game, waited years to play the full thing from EA. The combat is fun, the characters are interesting, and my only complaint is act 3.

Ultimately, I love this game. The gameplay, the story, the deckbuilding, it's all amazing. I loved every bit of it. My only downsides are that the final mission is super buggy (but thematically cool), and it's clear that it's setting up for a sequel, but I won't get into too many details about that. Just that the emotional connection you spend countless hours building with the roster of characters feels, ultimately, pointless. The DLC also feels really overpriced for what's in it, so that's honestly just on you if you want it. I liked the game, I don't regret binging the hell out of it, and I think it's worth a play!

1000 psykers are fed to the Emperor a day to keep the servers stable. It is not enough...

Early Access Review
It can be a really scary game until you've got some experience playing and know what to do / what to look for. After that, it's just checklist simulator. Pretty fun with friends tho!

This game is an absolute time sink. I've had it for around two weeks and already have near 80 hours in the game. It feels a lot cleaner than other Paradox games I've tried, and it's overall just a blast to play. My biggest critiques would be centered around some of the desync problems I've had in games with my friends, as well as the extremely buggy fleet manager.

I really enjoyed this game awhile back, and please don't be decieved by my hours, I played this game endlessly offline at home (I didn't have an active internet connection). First off, let me say how much I enjoyed the story. I was caught up almost the entire time. If you spotted the "almost" let me touch on that in a bit.

First off, in the beginning of the game, it's great. Fantastic. Plenty of choices, story elements, interactions, characters, little quests. Really great stuff, but as the game progressed, it slowly sorta dropped you out of that. The first half of the game is incredibly interesting, but then it kinda leaves you hanging and in general a lack luster experience. But at that point, you're far too involved in the story to actually leave or quit.

That's really my only gripe with the game, is that there isn't much to do at the end, and it isn't as interesting as the beginning. But overally, it's an incredibly satisfying journey to find your love, and (cliche incoming) yourself.

Played the game in it's entirity, or at least the parts of which I was really interested in. I'm not a big achievement guy. Ironically, my favorite part of the game is the commentary at the end by Jesse. I really enjoyed listening to it, and hearing the problems, process, and stories behind making it.

It's funny, weird, dark, and I definitely will remember playing it.
