I trained myself in martial arts in my deceased grandfather's mountain I met Bulma who is searching for the Dragon Balls. Bulma notices my power. she asks me to join her after explaining the legend of the wish-granting Dragon Balls. As I matured, I became one of the universe's mightiest warriors and protects his adopted home planet,:tank: Earth, from villains who wish to harm it. I am depicted as carefree and aloof when at ease but quickly serious and strategic-minded when fighting. I am able to concentrate my Ki and use it for devastatingly powerful energy-based attacks, the most prominent being his signature Kamehameha technique, in which I launch a blue energy blast from my palms.
