I just...I didn't like this. I'm not sure if I am "playing it right" or what. We played with friends doing the...some sort of storyline mode, I think? We managed to get through to a mall level, but just...we couldn't get any further. We tried a bunch of different strats, but just got over-ran each time before we could collect something or other.

I keep this installed because the plan was always to come back to it and try it again, but...we never did. I know there are different modes available too, so maybe I'll come back and try one of those modes some day. I'm taking the risk of leaving comments open on this in case anyone has advice. We play other action-type games (such as DRG) and other zombie games (like 7 Days) but this one just did not click.

This one wasn't really for me, but I'm marking it as recommended for fans of the Bendy world. The game play wasn't for me...you run around collecting stuff to bring back to accomplish...I can't even remember the actual goal. You have to escape and hide from the baddies who are trying to hunt you down, which can delay your progress. Sometimes, it just felt like I was kind of repeatedly resetting the monsters hunting me down just hoping so they'd clear out of the area I needed. Run back over...nope they're still there. Do it again. Nope. Try again. Ugh.

That being said, there is some lore building on the world here so fans of the series will probably want to give it a shot. I enjoyed the original game (and am about to start the second one), but just didn't get into this one.

You can't beat free! Listen to a lofi sound track and watch the scenery go by! As added bonuses, you can create a to-do list within the app as well as set timers for how long you want to focus.

There are also various settings to adjust the time of day, the speed of the train, so forth. I would've loved to see some timers for landscape generation as well...I ran it for a while for my sick 3 year old while she snuggled in my lap because I had seen sheep and thought she'd enjoy seeing them too. I sort of built up the excitement about it...but all we saw were trees, fences, and flowers. Which, don't get me wrong, was fine. But I don't know where all the sheep went! :-P

Either way, this is a great free app for the music alone, so I'd freely recommend it.

CO-LAB-BO-RATION!

This was a cute game, with some hit or miss story line moments. The game mechanics were exceptional. They really nailed a blend of linear levels with semi-open-world exploration. Each level has a start and an end, but there are often large open areas within the level that can have a lot of cute stuff going on, from being related to the character's memories and past to being little mini games. The gameplay was excellent.

The storyline has some odd moments. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but one scene in particular seemed unnecessarily traumatic. But there were a lot of laughs along the way as well. The ending seemed a bit....lacking, to me. There wasn't really a final boss or climactic event. There was just one character overcoming her fear and doing a thing, and then...yay you win. I would've liked to see a final coming together of the two characters to...I dunno..overcome some manifestation of their combined doubts and fears or something. But oh well...it didn't ruin the experience.

Another huge draw was that only one person needs to buy the game (although the second person won't get achievements). This means that, if the came is on sale, you can get a 10-15 hour experience for less than a dinner out together.

Either way, my wife and I had fun playing it so I'd recommend it!

I was expected some sort of horror element or something mixed in to go with the creepy visuals. I was dissapointed...this seems to be just the first of the "copy-and-paste" clicker games that have made their way to Steam that happened to catch my eye. I've seen a ton of them since, each with a marketplace of items to sell you. As a fan of incremental games....this ain't it.

A short game that gives you some background on one of the characters of To The Moon's sequel, Finding Paradise. It really isn't necessary to play...but it may give you a bit of insight into the character and it is short and free.

A wordless comic from To The Moon. I absolutely loved it's take on the ending of the game and further supporting the developers was just the icing on the cake.

If you've already played the main game then you really need to play this too! This goes a lot deeper into a bit of the side story and overarcing story. Play this before moving on to Finding Paradise!
