@blackbeard Thank you for responding so quickly, your tutorial was a massive help in helping me get started with Zomboid modding. I'll look for another mod that might be similar to what I'm trying to make and see if they are doing anything specific.

@roddo you are good to go on using the MRE mod for your work. @saucy I have not looked into what the distribution file looks like at this moment so it is possible that it has changed or adjusted slightly. I am not sure when I will get back into modding PZ, but in time it will happen. Until then the best advice I could give is to check out other recent similar mods and see how they did it.

Sorry to be yet another person asking for modding help, but do you have any recommendations on any sources to understand distributions? My distributions look way different to the ones you had in your video and I can't exactly understand how I'm supposed to add my item.

I'm not sure that I can, realistically you should, as long as the barrel supports it, but the easy way now is to convert .223 to 5.56 and vice versa. Currently just how the game is won't allow it.. I did try to dabble into creating different types of rounds per caliber and failed due to limitations of how the game is currently.

A fellow modder of Project Zomboid here, I am following your guide on the creation of firearms for Project Zomboid, however in your video you skip over attaching the Muzzle Flash" and I am have some difficulty with trying to get it to work as my Project Zomboid in Debug mod will not turn off the "Break on Error" so it is making the entire process be almost 30 minutes each test just to see if I am doing things correctly.

Secondly I have been following your video exactly as shown and the "Muzzle Flash" is still not remaining on the end of the Pistol.

Hello Blackbeard! Huge fan of your PZ mods. I love the blackbeards weapons mod but im having an issue with item spawning. I cant seem to find a single weapon but I can find the ammo. I have tried poking around in the distro files but cant find any reason stopping the spawns. Maybe you could help? Thanks!
