For the money, this was actually a fun little game. It is a reasonably fast paced racing game that is not too difficult, and has excellent Garfield type cartoon graphics. Completely family friendly. and great to play together with friends I bought a copy for several of my close friends. Highly recommended.

I own the games (in the boxes) and all of the additions which I purchased it seems like decades ago. The graphics were improved, but still have the simplicity they had before. The FMV inserts brought back great memories...especially the ones of Kane. Playing this again after so many years was like reuniting with a long lost friend. Great for kids and adults of all ages. I highly recommend!

I really tried my best to like this game because a friend recommended it. The idea of Split or Steal is to face an opponent across a table and secretly lock in your choice of whether to split the growing pile of coins/money on the table or try to steal it all. With the money you earn you can buy better costumes and backgrounds used in the game as you stand at the table. Yep, that is just about it...you just stand at a table. From the hours I have played it, about 98% of the people choose to split, while a few steal and you have to start over playing, but no worries. You can build the pot back up to Tier 10 and the maximum amount of coins/money in less than 10 minutes. There are of course places to pay real time money to buy accessories and perks that build wealth faster, and there are some things you can trade your coins for which will slightly enhance the game, but over all, a one-eyed monkey could play it and probably do just as well. There is a large chat screen where you can talk to the pool of people who are playing the game, who may or may not talk to you. You can also join "org" of supposedly like minded splitters or thieves. The only skill in the game is learning to identify who is a thief when you start the round, but once the round starts, you can not back out and just have to guess at what the other person will do. Even when they send you a friendly message offering to split, much of the time that means they are telling a lie and steal. In conclusion to my review I can only say that Split or Steal is a game that takes very little brain power. It accomplishes very little other than to build up the "look" of your character with a limited number of costumes and effects and gives you the opportunity to message your opponent so that you can lie to and deceive them out of their winnings. When you steal it lowers your reputation. There is no actual battle other than just staring across a table and trying to recognize who is is going to split with you or steal from you. If you both steal, the pot is split and your reputation drops, making you look like a thief. I have played several different games on Steam during the last 15 years, including nearly 14,000 hours on TF2, but I have never seen a more useless and mean spirited game than Split or Steal. If you enjoy being mean, having people be mean to you and like to lie and deceive, then you might rate this game higher, but for me, on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 2 at best. Yes, I know it is only a game and it is free to play, but if this is all there is to it, then why bother playing it? I rank it as the worst game I came remember ever playing. Bird Of PrAy {toj.cc}

I downloaded the DEFCON Demo from the Steam store and ran it on my computer. After looking at the demo it looked like a great concept, but I decided not to play it and I closed the program. When I attempted to turn off Steam, I received a message telling me to first shut down DEFCON Demo, but even though I did not see the game running on my screen, it still showed to be running in my Library list. I attempted to uninstall it and the uninstall failed. Each time I restart Steam, it appears in my Library list and shows to be running again. I can use Task Manager to "end process" on the executable file, but it will not remove from my Library list. I am very concerned about this game and have written to Steam help about it and await their response. Virus and Malware scans show no problem, but a Google search for "DEFCON Demo removal problem" find articles on a suspected virus, but nothing was confirmed. It may not be a virus, but I no longer trust it and will continue attempting to remove it.

I love this game. It is correctly named because it is fun to play, especially with friends. Usually about 6 to 8 of us get together for a game. It is similar to playing pool, or putt-putt golf, if you are familiar with the old school term. It is also a very well built, low stress game that is even fun to play alone. If you need to calculate a trick shot off an angled surface, the AI understands the physics needed to be very accurate, and will do exactly what you tell it to do. You can play simple maps, or choose from dozens of other maps which are themed and created by people with vivid imaginations. There are a wide variety of courses, and it often takes a bit of thinking to figure out a shot, and the most obvious shot is not always the best one. Get creative and you will be surprised at how much fun it is to figure out each shot. For you people who like to collect things, it has drops of hats, trails and many other items which are marketable, which you usually receive after every 2 or 3 games played. There also a ton of options you can change your ball's color, have it wear different hats, trails and floats, or alter the way it moves and acts, which brings a whole new level to the fun. If you think knocking a ball into a little hole is not a challenge, the there is a hoops and hockey modes where you have to not only hit the golf ball correctly, but at the end you have to make it jump to make a basket or score a goal. Crazy, huh? You can also create your own golf course, but that mode is still needs work. I have nearly 120 games in my inventory, and this is easily in the top 3. I highly recommend it. Have fun. My son says this game is a more challenging version of Terraria, but I just don't care for it. I don't think of it as a bad game, but just a type of game I don't to play. I am a 62 year old games, and tiny 2D graphics are hard for these old eyes to see. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 4, but you may like it. If you liked Terraria, but wanted a bit more of a challenge, they you will probably like Starbound.

This game is a lot of fun. It is created in a Steam Punk style and requires close teamwork with at least 3 or more friends. There are AI bots to take the places of friends if you do not have enough friends to play with, but the bots are dumb and don't do near good enough job so it is always best and the most fun to play with friends. The ships are balloons, but so much more. You must have a pilot who is good at organizing the crew and flying the ship. You need great engineers to keep the ship flying while you fight the enemy and you need gunners to do the shooting. You can pick from several ships at the start of the game, but more are unlocked as you level up. You can play with one or more teams against a common enemy, or against each other...and there are a lot of different types of missions you can play. The over all game is very well made and runs well even on my duel core computer. I highly recommend it.

Excellent game to play with friends. Lots of different games within the game to play and chat with friends while doing so. I play this every Friday night with five other close friends and we all love it because there is someting for everybody.

Lame. Very cartooney, poor player control without accurate physics. Very dissappointed. Got a refund.

I have owned this game for a while, but only recently played it. The art in the game is the first thing I noticed and is very unique, but the best thing is the teamwork that happens when you play it. It is really a lot of fun, and you don't hve to be an expert to win. I was very surprised how much I liked it. It is best played with 3-5 of yoru best friends who like to work together to achieve vistory!.
