Clearly an unfinished product.
Optimisation is terrible, i'm running 60fps with i7-9700k and 3080ti on high with SEVERE fps drops.
Map design is non existent, it's a battle royale with a conquest gamemode.
This is, however, an excellent proof that dice marketing is absolutely top tier.


Portal mode is good tho, that's nice.

Now, back to doing something more fun than playing this game, like planting rusty nails under my toenails.

This game is everything it said it would be.

It's a fast paced FPS recycling CoD mechanics.

The map design might need a bit of work tho, everything else is what you would expect.

It is fun.

Chopping head feels great !

This is a bad port of a good game.

I've spent around 200 hours on console playing this solo, because i hate having to pay for online on console.
I've been excited to see this coming to PC, unfortunately it's not really a PC port.. it's more like having a xbox emulator built in the game.

Overall, using mouse and keyboard will probably make you mad, the menus are made for console, and it clearly shows.
The performance is clearly lacking, i have everything maxed and 60 fps but sometimes it drops to 50 and it shouldn't happen with a 1080ti 2x SLI.

Some features are clearly useless, and probably here to reall veteran of "how it was before", but seriously, buy a meal for a voucher ?
Who the hell cooks raw meat for a ration ?
What's the point of the random drop instead of predicted drop when entering a quest when you can fast travel to where you were supposed to land in the first place ?

Well, all of those points you can ignore, and just continue the game, as long as you're playing with a controller you'll be fine and have a MHW experience online (at no extra charge hurray) WHEN THE ONLINE WORKS. They are fixing it, it has considerably improved since launch and at least now i'm not being disconnected mid-quest. The whole lobby system is very console-esque, so if you play this on PC you'll feel just like playing a console game but with higher framerate and your usual steam launcher, which is a selling point for me.

Still the most challenging FPS out there. Much more complex than any others. Note that this is a really bad game to play from time to time, it only gets fun when you play quite a lot and competitively.

EDIT: NO THIS IS RIDICULOUSLY INFECTED WITH CHEATERS.

Un excellent jeu, a ne pas mettre en francais (j'ai pas test sur la version steam, mais sur PS4 c'est du charabia).
Plus "facile" que darksouls, a peu pres autant que bloodborne, un tres bon feeling des armes, je recommande à 100%!
le boss le plus dur à dur me demander peut etre 10-15 try, ce qui n'est pas enorme, mais juste assez pour avoir du challenge !

Even if i did not invest in the game as much as others (yet), it has the basics of an excellent game, and a bunch of customization (very similar to Endless Space).
Very few problems to be noted, overall i would definitely recommend the game!

This is a nice F2P game, with few, cheap interesting and highly optionnal micro transactions. I did get to play heroes i liked in the comics and movies, and that was fun, it may be a bit repetitive after a while but it should (SHOULD) be around the time you got enough credit to buy another hero, with its own savor !
Overall, give it a try, it's not hard, it's fun, i like !
