I would recommend you take a look at a few games that are in the store right now: X-Com is alot like fire emblem but with guns and is much more in-depth. I loved it. There are also games like CIV but for space, like Endless Space which I found was a good entry game into the genre of the 4x sims (exploit, exterminate...i forget the other 2). Left for Dead is always cheap, and is good for killing time. There are also a lot of good games coming up in the greenlight section, make sure to keep your eye on there. Hope you're enjoying civ, I noticed your achievments reflected science and blowing everyone else up. The way it is meant to be played.
