Honestly this game is really good and was worth the ten bucks. I'm 17 hours in and still haven't beat it so there's definetely quite a bit of content here. The enemies all look different, yet are distinct to their element. The art all and all is very good, with limit breaks giving you these fun crazy destructive attacks. There is a bit of grinding and the combat is turn based, so if you don't like turn based combat this game isn't for you. The grind is pretty minimal and throughout the story are the fairly generic characters making funny remarks and conversation to keep you interested, but there isn't any award winning plot here, as the game doesn't take itself seriuosly, but that gives it creative freedom for some funny moments to keep it more fun than serious.
So overall this game is 8/10 which for 10 bucks is pretty good. It probably wont last more than 20 hours for most people though because I'm basically at the end, but overall I enjoyed it and I think it's pretty good. You can try the game out in the browser if you'd like to see if you enjoy it first, but the steam version has WAY more content and is definetely worth it if you like games from KupoGames. If this game is on sale for less than 5 bucks like it is at the time of the review, I'd say definetely get it if you're into this genre.

This is my first ever XCOM game, campaign is long as hell and is lots of fun. Steam Workshop multiplies this. Assemble a team of up to 6 specialized units that miss EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 95% SHOT I SWEAR TO GOD, but you'll love it and keep playing anyway, because they have abilities which negate RNG, and as long as you play smart you can avoid any of your units ever getting killed (im not a good example of this), or you could just reload saves and pray for better RNG. It's hard for me to explain the gameplay mechanics because I've never played a game similar to this (I've played turn based games, but its nothing like standard turn based RPGs), but if you do find you like it, it lasts a looong time (I've got over 40 hours and I haven't beaten the campaign yet [on hard])
