A game ahead of it's time. I felt the story compelling, akin to the book series "The Rage of Dragons" about an underdog with the weight of the world on our hero's shoulders as he overcomes any and all obstacles in his path. You could feel the weight of each decision made as the story progressed resulting in several unique and inspiring endings which gives the game a lot of replay-ability. Mass Effect 3 could have used these writers, but that's a rant for another time. The romance choices felt fluid and natural and it gave meaning to the camaraderie of our team.

As previously mentioned by another intellectual, the gun choices(the Thompson and the PPSh) threw me off. However, over time I came to accept it as part of the game's flavor and even the real world accuracy of our Hero's plight. We were pushed back to the point of breaking and falling to our enemies. We used everything at our disposal to overcome these obstacles and challenge ourselves.

Game play was a strategist's dream. Different tools for different encounters. One item being better for a specific target but we were given free reign in how we chose to challenge ourselves. Managing your cool downs can be tricky, but it gave the game it's depth as it was challenging. This, once again, adding to the overall replay-ability.

9/10, needs more butt stuff.
