The selling point of the game was sexy female characters, but lets remove all that over a decade later for the sake of being "progressive".

Once you properly configure the controls to your settings, using a 360 controller, the game is more perfect than the N64 version. Though I do prefer the static images for the N64's cutscenes than the aged CG for the PC's FMVs.

Plays better than it did on the N64 giving new life to the nostalgia.

I can't even start it, regardless of any of the troubleshooting I went through. Seems a lot of people have issues with this, and or game crashes. A remaster of Bioshock was also truly unnecessary for a game of its time. From what I've seen the only thing that looked better was the dive down to Rapture in beginning of the game, now with various sea foliage and life. I expected them to give unique NPCs their own models, but they still use the same Splicer models like before. Bioshock Remastered is only worth getting for the original Bioshock, and I recommend getting it, if you haven't already, with the collection when it's usually on sale for $20. Though even the original game's audio won't play for me unless I change the compatibility mode, which ends up killing the game overlay.

DR3 is more or less of the same, and much easier than the first two games. The story missions have no time limt, other than the 6 days you need to complete them, and start right away instead of a certain time. Side missions unlock along new story missions, these do have a time limit and seem to start at certain times, meaning you can miss some if you decided to prgress the story like days later. You can save all the survivors in your initial playthrough, and don't require you to bring them to a safehouse, you can just abandon them after you complete their task and they'll go back to the safehouse. The suriviors you save will be part of a posse system which you can select a few to join you, though I never bothered to use it. You can now combine weapons on the go, and any weapons you find or combine are added to a collection that you can choose at any safehouse with a limit that varies on certain weapons. Overall, DR3 just feels less frusterating as it gives you more freedom around the game's schedule leaving you with little to worry.

Still sucks that HL3 has had such a bad case of development hell. Just hope we don't get Half Life Forever if that will ever be the day. Giving this game a bad review because of a broken promise related to the series and not the game itself is pathetic. HL2 is a amazing game that should be in everyone's library that uses Steam. And if it wasn't for HL2 I wouldn't probably be playing games on PC.

It's like if Illusion made a game with actual gameplay instead of sex. Really don't expect much, the level is one single open area where enemies just keep spawning in waves. It's alright for a cheap price, but I would go wait for a bigger sale.

For 5 bux it's worth getting, but I went for it when it was on sale. The controls are a pain at first but you get use to them, still it can become frustrating at time when enemies become more aggressive or you happen to miss that jump when racing against the clock, often your preformance can be sluggest because you lack speed. This game's music and art direction is what keeps it motivated. There's no import spray option for when you prefer your own taste of graffiti, but luckly a 3rd party program allows that. Requires a 360 controller and other controllers may not work, but a 3rd party program can also fix that.
