I'm a 50 year old. Been playing games since i was 10, with an amazing zx Spectrum 48k. To say I'm a bit jaded when it comes to new gaming experiences is a bit of an understatement, but I do love gaming, and will only stop when my fingers and/or eyes cant't cope any more,( hopefully at the time there's no life left in me). There is one developer I've come across in recent years that has got me hooked on the challenge, the mystery, and the exploration , of not only the game world itself, but of the ways to play, the builds, and the skill to progress in the game - and continually reinvigorates my will to carry on playing games and, Hah! to "git gud", and That developer is From Software.

This is my first taste of Armoured Core and my initial impression: It's Dark Souls, but much faster. I am loving it. After playing games since 1984, if I'm not dying loads, and failing, or just scraping through; I'm a bit bored to be honest. This game ticks all the boxes. It looks great, it's challenging, and very satisfying to kick the crap out of any enemies/bosses. mini bosses, that come along.

This is my first experience with the Armoured Core series and I'm quite impressed. Souls on speed!

I'm 621, and I don't know whats coming, but I'm happy to say I can't wait to blow more things up.

Love it. Anno with trains. Lots of trains. Keep restarting to get the "perfect" set up. Hope I never do!! Definitely would recommend if you like city builders/management games.

Great game.

Love Dragons Dogma 1, this is more of the same. The world looks fantastic and is genuinely nice to explore. Quests, while standard fantasy fare, are fairly good. Combat is engaging and fluid once you get the hang of it. There are genuine criticisms about microtransactions, but as many have said, you don't need to buy any of them to play and enjoy the game. There is a minor issue with performance in city areas, but nowhere near enough to make me want to stop playing. Developers have acknowledged this and are looking into a fix.

Very happy I bought this.

Great Game!

Absolutely fantastic! Can't get over how good this game is. Played Icewind Dale BG1&2, NWN, DA:O and D:OS 1 & 2. These games got steadily better over the years, (few story line qualms not withstanding here and there), and Baldurs Gate 3 really sits well with this family tree of fantasy cRPGs, and continues the progress cRPGs have made with each incarnation. And is better in almost every way.

Characters are memorable and well voiced, the locations I've visited so far are very well designed and look amazing. Companion character are very well written, most cRPGs I've played over the years have had some companions that are less than memorable, there was always a dud in there, someone I felt was rushed a bit. Not something I've experienced in BG 3, I like some more than others, but there isn't one whose back story I don't care about. Really looking forward to playing the origin stories when I'm done with my first play through.

With such a wide range of Class, sub class, and race options I felt like a kid in a sweet shop wanting to try every combination of player character. Not sure how many times I've had a tadpole in my eye, but I did eventually settle and am enjoying the story, the combat, the difficulty checks, and generally wandering about poking around and finding stuff.

10/10 all round. Excellent game. Highly recommended.

Played a lot of CoH 1&2 and I am loving this so far. Can't begin to comprehend all the negative reviews, this is a great game! It looks good, it runs really well and the battles are so much fun. Really enjoying it so far.

Fantastic game! Put aside some time, and then expect to play for much longer.
