Hi there, following up on that question about an E100 model in the tank museum mod. I am using some of the models from that mod (and a few from the british tank version) as variant imperial guard models.

So, do you know any source for the E100? Really like the looks of that tank.

Oh wow, hey CR4YCR4Y, actually I should in this case disclose that I had Finaryman develop the original RC car script from Markimus further, increasing reliability and allowing for effect-asset bundles to be chained to the thrust buttons to allow for an effect to play as the car moves.
I have a race map half done using this script, so I guess it should be interesting for you once I get to finish it. If you want, I can make a special preview for you so you can check that script out in case it might be helpful for you.

Oh, it was that bad? I thought the model didn't look that high detail. Holes sound like a problem that might be caused by the parts of the mesh not being connected to one another - try using remove doubles on the original, then decimate again and see if that fixes it. Also, try exporting turret and hull seperate if you didn't already do that, since that way you have essentially a higher triangle margin.

So I was able to import that BK-42 into TTS, but I found that the process of lowering the triangles to an acceptable level (i.e. below 20000) ripped some odd holes in the mesh that I don't know how to fix - I am a blender novice. Any advice?

Very much appreciated, though that doesn't seem to be an option for the "drop" sound that only seems to be in the "TTS Asset Bundle Sounds" script, which is what I'm trying to modify (e.g. the sound that plays when you place the item on the table). That is probably why I've been chasing my tail, as I am now seeing the "positional 3D" option for sounds under the "TTS Asset Bundle Effects" script, but not option to link that to the drop action.

Any workaround or adjustment to the scripts that you know of to alter the "drop" sound to be non-positional?

UnknownElementX, okay, I looked it up for you. In the TTS Asset Bundle Effects Script, in either looping or trigger effects, go to the sound option and notice the "Positional 3D" option. If checked on, it should have the sounds fade with distance and be steroe according to where your camera is placed in the 3D world, whereas unchecking it should make it play with the same volume throughout the room.

xXSheepDestroyerXx, the background I used in my High Quality Trees mod is not my own, it is a standard background that comes with the game. You can find it via Objects -> Backgrounds and is called "Field". I do not know what location this was taken from. You'd best ask one of the developers, like CHRY for example.
