Great coop game to play with a friend

Fun, especially with friends. Decent amount of replayability factor to get higher scores, do it silent. etc.

This is a fun game to play with friends or random people online. Similar to agar.io but in a 3D world.

I like the variety in the maps and the music when playing. The powerups in some of the game modes are really fun too. Swaperino is awesome and massgain. I love sneaking up on someone bigger and using it to trick them.

Lots of fun for kids too. Family friendly fun for all ages.

Summary: Enjoyable game if playing with friends that REQUIRES lots of time to really enjoy

Positives: If you have the time to invest in gathering resources, building bases, starting over after setbacks and deaths, then RUST is a very rewarding fun game. To go from a naked who cannot defend himself against anything or anyone to a raider who wields immense power and control makes for a very captivating game.

Negatives: You need hours and hours of grinding away to get the resources to start becoming successful and self sufficient in this game. However, you will die very often due to the fact that all humans are resources in this game to other players and are harvested as such. If you do not have the ability to start over from scratch almost effectively undoing hours of work then you will not enjoy this game.

Game Recap:

I like to classify online FPS games as one of three types. FPS games can be shooting focused, positioning focused, or an even mix of shooting and positioning. The Battlefield series falls into the shooting focused games, it isn't necessary to find cover if you are quicker at aiming and shooting. The Counter Strike series falls into the middle ground where both the ability to shoot (control recoil) and positioning are both important. Insurgency falls into the positioning classification. It is very important you are aware of your surroundings and the key to getting kills, holding objectives, or defending is positioning.

This game is realistic, there are no markers telling you where enemies are. No bullet counters for your clip. Not even a proper compass. One wel placed shot is all it needs to get a kill. Sometims two if they have heavy armor and got grazed. The guns range from old to modern, there is a variety of accessories and scopes.

Overall I recommend this if you are into the more strategic shooters and teamwork.

Community:

I find the community servers to be good overall. Friendly people. The devs are constantly pushing free updates/DLCs to the game. Visually it's a little dated but good enough. The levels are designed with lots of detail which is also refreshing.
