Did I sink 7 hours into a save file and got to the Thor boss fight to later realized that I am not playing the Chronicle save data and instead the base one because ATLUS for some reason didn't put it in the base game?
Yes.
Am I going to start over from scratch and play all the way till Thor again because I want to fight Matador and other fiends which is probably the big reason why this game is so popular in the first place?

Will I regret it?

A good and worthy sequel to Persona 4 Golden!

Enter the Gungeon is a fun and addicting game that provides you with challenges that makes you refuse to quit the game. The hard difficulty allows for a great challenge compared to a game that is too easy. The mechanics, enemies, and weapons are all unique and imaginative. From fighting bullet shells that shoots you with their shotguns to fighting a giant mermaid with two smgs spraying at you, this game is a game that always makes me refuse to quit playing.
