Outer Wilds is definitely one of those games that stay in your head for years to come.

If you want to genuinely enjoy this experience, you've gotta go in with the mindset that this is NOT a survival game, but instead one big puzzle that you have to put together yourself. However once you get the story together, it makes it all worth the effort you've made.

The music especially captivates me as a trombone player. the planets aligning to play the same song together is extremely satisfying, and I feel the music is what really pulls me in to liking the game.

Overall, this game is gonna be one of my favorites for a long while. Please take the time to patiently play this game if you're considering it.

This game hits me directly in the heart in many ways. This is a once in a lifetime game experience. Literally. I will split up my review into three sections; Music, Gameplay, Summary.

Music is really the thing that carries an entertainment sources emotion. Without good music, a game or movie would be nothing. Which brings me to this games music. Absolutely astonishing. The soundtrack consists of mood setting area music, comical relief music, and emotion-hitting music that you'll remember for a very long time. My favorite piece of music in this game, Silverpoint, really pushes the mood of a serious issue going on in the Barrens, and it definitely completes the mood of its area.

The gameplay is one of a kind. This is a puzzle game, which consists of medium level puzzles that are extremely clever, changing the wallpaper and other elements in the computer which help you through the game. The story is a very emotional, and can really pull your heartstrings, and even adds an option at the very end that gives you the satisfying game ending that you could always want.

In all, this game is an 8.5/10 for me, and I wouldn't mind playing it again... but you can't. The thing is... You only have OneShot. - Keegan
