I want to start this of by saying that i want to love this game and sink 100 of hours in to it but in the current state that it is in i just can't.
The fact that you can't play tdm or domination in Battlefield 2042, or if you want to play on a hardcore server you can't get weapon xp, as soon as i joined my first hardcore server my guns stopped leveling up, or that breakthrough is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the spawns are miserable, vehicles are op, and not to mention the hovercrafts, games become unbareble to play, you can't move or get out of your spawn and if you do there is a high chance that you will get spawntrapped. The map is too big for it's own good, you can spend a good 4-5 minutes of just running to get to a point just to find out that it is overrun by fifty enemies and there is nothing you can do. The weapons are so unbalanced that you can't use some of the guns becuse they take twice the amount of time to kill someone. I love Battlefield but if they don't change this in the coming weeks the playerbase is gone.
so to sum up don't buy this untill it is fixed, or major patches are in play.

as someone who played the original countless number of times, and even got the collectors edition for the disappointment of a game Mafia III, i was glad to hear that the game was getting a definitive edition, butt after playing the game and realising that the so called "improvements" did nothing, and the fact that a game breaking bugg that makes the last section of the game a grind, and you have to try over and over again. That somthing that was a known bugg 10 years ago and makes it in to the remake of the game is just sad and lazy.

as much as i want to give this game a good rating and say possitive things, i just can't find anny good reason.

if you own the old one, then you might find this game a bit nostalgic, but if you are new to the series i would say thet only buy this game on a sale.
