Easily the most immersive game I've ever played. If out-and-out realism is your goal, DCS may be the better option, but if you want to get most of the way there, while also feeling like you're actually *flying", no game does it better than VTOL. Easier to learn than most other sims while still having plenty to master, combined with Workshop support results in a game with near-infinite replay value, all at a price that feels like stealing, even without being on sale.

For the gameplay loop and the fact that not all heroes are unlocked from the start, charging $10 for beta access to a game that is stated to be a f2p at launch is disgraceful. Either unlock all heroes for the duration of the beta, or make it free and use the other monetization vectors you also have. Being pay2play AND having premium currency is just overkill. If you gave access to all heroes from the start, $10 would honestly seem reasonable to me. But as of now? No.

An age-old classic. Even without a major update in half a decade, the existing content still retains its fun value to today. Combine that with the free-to-play price model, and there's literally no reason for you not to play this game.

I've played this game for 400 hours in the last 4 months, and never at any point has this game gotten me to burn myself out. I've gotten disinterested every now and then, but I can never seem to truly pull myself away, and the newest update only strengthened that. I fully recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun co-op experience with nigh-unlimited replayability.

One of the most interesting and engaging games I've ever played. Even with hundreds of hours of playtime I still find a reason to come back to this game.
