I'm a big fan of the Civ series and I played all from the very first. Overall the changes to Civ 6 are good. Districts bring new flavor to city building and actually require you to plan out your city. I really enjoy the Civics tree and the card system behind building your government. The tech tree has brought in a new feature which I really like. For instance, if you build a city on the coast you get a 50% boost towards sailing, even if thats not the tech your going for currently.

With all these pros you may think there can't be any flaws, right? Mostly. I've only run into one gripe, certain civs like certain things called agendas. If you don't fit their agenda, some of them start to get really angry and some "may" go to war with you over something as silly as....."you have more great people than I do....you big meanie!" or "Your culture isn't as good as mine so I have to go to war with you!". I've had to deal with Russia in multiple wars before I finally decided to shut him up permenantly.

All in all the game is fantastic, the best in the series if you ask me, despite its flaws.
