Original Review:
---------------------
This game has great PvP, and depth when creating your play style, but there are things that are needed to be done until more content is released.

Fix the servers. Just because one player has bad ping, it shouldn't effect everyone in that instance.

Lower the price. The game in its current state isn't going to sustain itself for long. If the devs lower the price, it'll buy the them time. Besides, other than the PVP, which is rewarding if you are willing to learn your mistakes, doesn't have enough PvE content for players to stay even longer. Also the game isn't about button mashing, learn how to use your defensive abilities effectively and your spells effectively.

Do some work on the spells. They are pretty balanced, but they need work, some need to use more shards from how useful they are in combat, some need tweaks to their effects. For example, shockwave is a good ability for breaking off your enemies combos to give yourself a rest while readying yourself for their next barrage, but it can be too easily spammed when it only requires one shard.

Add some new styles in the future. With only four in the game, once you master them, you don't have much to do other than tweaking your deck once you get a new move, and improving yourself in 1v1's. Something like a Judo style that redirects attacks and more would really help the game.

EDIT: The price needs be lowered soon, or else the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Downfall Update Review
--------------------------------
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does this game have a chance.

Well, the new update fixes the singleplayer problems, if they divise one part of the team to bug fixing and another to tile sets, this expansion is going to add many, many hours. This game, as I missed in my original review, is also about social interaction in many ways. I would more or less call it a social martial arts game. You meet people, fight them or colaborate with them, and improve your deck along with the index of experiences a player could have. The new update brought the playerbase for that to be more viable, and more actual content. Be careful playing the new mode and the base multiplayer modes, since there is a problem since the time of writing this review there is a problem were equipment gained from them dissapear, but it should be fixed in about a week from now, so give it a shot!

Before you decide to jump into this game, just keep in mind its content has not been completely added in. Right now, we got ship launched fighters with passenger missions (you get to ferry passengers) and planetary exploration, soon we'll have walking, aliens, Multi-crew interactions and more. Consider every other review you see that this game is not close to finished with the amount of content added in. 1\3 of the content has not been added in yet. Look around and just see if its the game you want right now or want, if not come back later and try again. Right now, the graphics are great, nice lighting, and sometimes you will find a basic texture but most will have good detail put into them. Combat is very polished and you have a multitude of careers you can choose in your space adventures, whether you're a pirate, assassin, bounty hunter, trader, space trucker, explorer, or salvager (There are planty more), there is a good amount of fun to be had here, just don't expect the game to be non repetitive.

Rebel Galaxy is Sci-Fi western with naval-like combat. You can spend your time doing mercenary work, doing trading or doing the main missions. This game does alot right but still gets certain things wrong so the rest of the review is going to be broken down into a list pro's and con's just to speed things up.
Pro's:
-The soundtrack sounds bad-ass
-Gameplay is solid
-A decent variety of weapons and ships, but keep in mind that I haven't gotten far into the story yet, I gotten to the next sector
-Exploration is minimaly constricted
-Story is enticing so far
-Lots of cool land marks i.e moons, suns, and very weird looking planets
-Great graphics for the ones who care

Con's:
-Easy to get pulled out of warp and subwarp
-Not many people play the game, keep in mind the last time I checked at the time of this review, about 347 people were playing, which is sad because its a really good game :{
-Can be extremely frustating and can be fairly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at times. *cough bombers cough*
-Can be farely grindy and boring when trying to get equipment and other frigates to use in fights

Notes:
Don't let the lack of player deter you, it doesn't effect the gameplay, i just wish more people played it. Also, the game is a acquired taste, amny people will like it and many won't, it just depends on your preferance
