(2/2) Scared. Riddled with fear. Whenever my anxiety peaked, I did the "333." Name three things you can see, three sounds you can hear and three parts of your body. It worked. It was so simple, but in that 333 I broke the spiral and felt so much more calm. The game launched flawlessly. For me, emotions are spectrums rather than absolutes, or destinations. As such I see a range from sad, through neutral, to happy that blends. For the most part I exist on the positive side of neutral and let "happier" feelings come as bursts of colour. I enjoy this way of being. It renders me somewhat immune to depression and gives a sort of emotional robustness that provides a steadiness others can co-regulate from. From what I can see, those who see "sad" and "happy" as absolutes are forever destined to oscillate between the two. But here and now, seeing "FALLOUT 3.5" flash across my screen... I did feel happy.

So, the only option available was to look to the heavens - the stars above - and wish upon a pc build capable of running the POWERHOUSE that is FarOut Hugh Janus. Dozens of polygons. meshes of up to 10.5k Triangles, and 2 NiTriStrips. .ini configuration. I required RAW power to run it... and what better show of power than a 1080. The beast resting on my desk hummed and purred as I clicked "launch" on the game's page, but... I was terrified. (1/2)
