Between the releases of FF 7 and FF 8 on steam it's obvious most players will rather go back to the legendary 7, but FF 8 was because of that overlooked since its release. Does it live up to its predecesor? No. Is it just as good? No. But it's still a good story, and has some of my favorite characters from the FF universe. If you are a fan of Final Fantasy and of JRPG's give it a chance. In my opinion it's what FF 12 was in the next generation. Not nearly as good as FF X but still worth the playthrough. As for the PC version altogether it is kinda bad. But still i give it a positive review for all the hours lost playing this gem.

You're gonna die again and again and again. Then you're gonna get invaded and die some more. But that's the beauty of Dark Souls. Because there's no greater feeling when someone comes to your world and you beat the s*** outta them. For every hardcore player out there buy this game. Worth every cent.

For every true horror/crime fan. Excellent, gripping and addictive storyline that will leave you wanting more. Alan Wake is an example of how any game should be made, from the story to gameplay. Although not very inovative in terms of pure gameplay elements, the narrative keeps this game at a high level. A must have for every serious gamer.
