Played this game since mid-2021, never felt the need to leave a proper review, as I never had much to say aside from "Game is great, would recommend." But since we've got some real new stuff to see (and review bombers being review bombers) I'll give it a crack.

Alright, so let's start out with the elephant in the room, the UI.

Yeah, it's absolutely a tangled mess to navigate, and there are plenty of bugs to do with it. People are up in arms about it, and I can understand the frustration. However, this is day one of the relaunch, and it's not going to be in a couple weeks. People complained about the old UI because it felt weird to navigate too, but we all just figured out how to navigate it eventually, and plenty became very quick at doing so. New things take time to learn, and we're all still very used to the old UI, so give it a few weeks at the very least. And I'm sure they'll polish a few of the pain points, such as creating loadouts from scratch. As for the bugs? I mean, come on, they're going to get patched out, give them some time.

How about the engine upgrade and the graphics being improved, along with the new map?

Looks beautiful, a real breath of fresh air. Sure, the optimization is definitely gonna need to be tuned a little bit, small stutters happening here and there, a few visual anomalies, and all the like. But again, this is literally day one of the relaunch. We're effectively playtesters, and we're telling them what issues we're facing. I guarantee most of the stutters and visual bugs will be remedied within a reasonable time period. The map itself is visually stunning, and it's overall just very enjoyable to walk around in. Knocked it absolutely out of the park.

Gameplay adjustments? Bullet drop, Necromancer, and burning?

I think the game deserved to be given a few of these changes. Bullet drop is an interesting change, but new stuff is always fun to experiment with, and it's pretty subtle unless you're playing rifles at over 150 meters, or trying to hit pistol snipes from over 70 meters, in which case, you should be forced to add an extra dose of skill into your shooting. For Necromancer, as someone who's spent over half of my playtime playing as a solo (a legit portion of them being before self-Necromancer was added,) I can tell you right now that Necromancer was such a... problem(?) for both solo and duo/trio players. Until they made Flares and Fusees burn corpses some months back, you were nearly incapable of being removed from a lobby, unless the enemies specifically brought a Fire Bomb. Nobody wants to spend 10 minutes looking for 4 Lanterns because you keep standing up right before a bar gets burned. And for the solo themselves? I don't want to be staring at a death screen for 10 minutes just because I KNOW the enemies will get bored and leave. Not to mention that getting up with reduced health was always just... difficult. You'd pretty much always just want to extract, unless you had a banish ready. Single-use solo-Necromancer with a full 150HP makes your second chance that much more precious, and that much more valuable, and if you die again you aren't playing a 10 minute waiting game, it's just back to the lobby to try again, saving everyone time. Burning speed for corpses being increased to 2.5 health per second rather than 1 health per second is pretty wild, and I do think that losing an entire small bar because your teammate couldn't reach your corpse within 10 seconds is potentially too punishing, but I do think I can get used to it. We're moving into a more fast-paced era, it seems, and I welcome it with open arms.

Overall, I can say that in my eyes, this update has been a pretty big success, and I cannot wait until they polish all the issues we have right now. I don't plan to stop playing any time soon, and I'll probably keep playing until I've added at least an extra couple thousand hours onto my current playtime. The game is amazing, and I stand by that.
