I've been tracking the forest for over a year before the aplha 0.01 came out. I bought it the instant it came to early access. Being in early access theres still plenty of bugs, but that doesn't change how amazing this game is. The island is deep and immersive, the cannibals are terrifying and yet so interesting. The crafting is interesting and theres plenty for you to do. As I said before this game is only in alpha but its a 10/10 and highly reccomended by me.
