Early Access Review
Despite how incredibly bad it is, somehow it's fun. Buy only on a 75% off sale though. It's still being "updated" but content is added at an INCREDIBLY slow rate. I can only assume there is only 1 developer, who is still learning to code, developing this game.

I don't recommend it because it costs $25 not on sale, has the slowest development cycle of any game I have ever played, cars eat 5,000 gallons of gasoline per mile, you can't pickup placed blocks, so if you place iron early game, you have to sit there hitting it with an axe for 5 damn minutes, because they don't allow everything to be picked up, even when in a self claimed area. Not everything is craftable, or gatherable in the world. I bought this game back in like 2017, played again today, not that much was added or changed somehow.

The Fun Pimps made a great game with literally unlimited potential, then did ♥♥♥♥ all with it.
It's a fun game honestly, but has so many glaring issues, it's difficult to go 10 minutes without getting annoyed by some poorly thought out game mechanic. Also this game will be early access or alpha or whatever they're calling it these days forever. It will never be finished, it will never add the feature you've always wanted, that game mechanic pissing you off will still be pissing you off 300 years from now.

Such potential wasted by an indie developer who simply doesn't want to be more. 7 Days to Die is that hobby project developers keep working on simply because of expectations, but that developer no longer has any passion for the project.

Poorly thought out changes continue. Now with 90% more resource hogging and obstruction. Now it doesn't matter what you do. Some kid is going to make materials impossible to access by anyone but their regiment and your side is guaranteed to lose, and most players only play on one side anyway.

Feel bad for the developers, so much effort into a game with so much potential for, presumably, a handful of out of touch managers implements things they're told my everyone including the players is a terrible idea. It's implemented. It's a terrible idea. ??? Nothing changes. It's certainly a unique management style.

NO MMR SYSTEM, ONE GAME IS EASY AS ♥♥♥♥, THE NEXT NOTHING GETS DONE, RANDOM MATCHMAKING LEAVES THE GAME A STEAMING PILE OF ♥♥♥♥. DON'T BUY FOR MORE THAN $2.50

Cashgrab, nothing more. Gameplay content is extremely limited, unless you want another terrible jacket to add to your other terrible jackets. $5's of gameplay at best, matchmaking system is completely random, every killer will be the same killer, whichever one is balanced worse, and they're all terrible balanced, but it's like they intentionally leave 1 killer uber broken, I guess so more suckers will play this game.

Pathetic weak cashgrab ruining a game with a lot of potential. It's funny though, they appear to make matchmaking easier for the first several hours, I guess in an attempt to keep people from realizing how pathetic the game is too quickly, otherwise 99% of users would refund, unless they only played custom games with friends.

Come on, at least playtest your game to check the balancing, it's HEAVILY skewed. Developer is clearly inexperienced.

EDIT: I also really enjoy how props can cheese gameplay, hiding in places you can never get. Like the one ♥♥♥♥ map where everyone just hides under tables. Either ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix it, or let killers hit under tables. Such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, I want it to be good but this is such a joke. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix a SINGLE BUG.

NEW UPDATE STILL HAS EXPLOITS, HAVE YOU CONSIDERED USING YOUR BRAIN AND FIXING THE GAME? OR CONTINUE ALLOWING PLAYERS TO ABUSE OBVIOUS GAMEPLAY BUGS. JUST ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ REFUND ME, THIS GAME IS EMBARASSING.

I'm horrible at this game, my bases look like ♥♥♥♥ and I keep resetting every hour or so.

But I can't stop. It's too addicting. I have work tomorrow, but... It has its claws in me and I don't know if I'll ever be let go...

This was clearly released too soon. It's still using the Personal Version of Unity...

The game started in a 2560x1440 even though I have a 1080p screen, it's not a widescreen. So I had to scoot that over to change the resolution. As soon as I changed the resolution the screen went black and remained that way. Had to restart the game to see the changes, finally decided I'd just click Fullscreen and that seemed to do the trick.

Once you get in-game you'll see the tutorials are VERY lacking, the moving speed (moving the camera left and right) is really fast and no adjustments for it. When you click buttons there is no indication it was clicked so you have no idea if the button you just hit actually worked or not.

The game in it's current condition is not worth it, even at $7. I'll personally be refunding it. It's pretty clear this was someones hobby project. They're inexperienced and they released it far too early. I thought it would be at least SOMEWHAT as fun and interesting as Kingdoms, but there is just far too little polish. It needs some major work.
