Playing this in 2019 the same week F1 2019 was released. Like most Codemasters games of the last 12-15 years it is still perfectly playable and a fun experience. 2014 marked an improvement in the engine over previous entries in the series. Kind of fun to "time travel" with some of the drivers on the roster.

Unfortunately, Codemasters keeps the prices on these games high, likely due to the F1 licensing, which is why I decided to give this a playthrough rather than a newer version.

Are you old? Do you remember "Road Rash" from consoles in the 90s? Sure you do. Motorcycles...clubs...violence...great music.

Well, this is its spiritual successor, recreated as a Rogue-lite.

More Weapons, more bosses, more bikes, more riders.

If you remember Road Rash fondly, this is a must buy, even at full price.

First, this isnt a traditional game. This is a 3rd person story driven puzzler with light combat mechanics. It looks good, it is quite playable, but it is not for everyone.

If youre expecting Dark Souls or anything even remotely combat challenging, this is NOT the game for you.

If you enjoy slow puzzlers, walking simulators, good story and atmosphere, this is probably for you. The combat is not in depth or difficult in any way for someone experienced with "action fighting games".

That being said; Never pay full price, folks! Look for at least 33% off the $30 list price.

Atmospheric walker. Good music, intruiging "story".

Ok, so that was different. Qualifer: Not my usual genre. Atmospheric, puzzle walking simulator. Good music, no eyes. I'm not sure I get the ending. If this is your type of game, probably worth picking up on sale for a few hours of diversion. Unfortunately, can be annoyingly repetitive before you sort out the solution.

Dont even bother unless the idea controlling the individual fingers of a hand with individual keys appeals to you at some level. I can assure you that it is frustratingly awkward. Go with Car Mechanic sim instead.

Old school shooting gallery / on rails shooter. Worth every bit of $0.99

One of the few Early Access games Id recommend buying (but remember folks, never pay full price). Deep crafting, reasonably deep skill development. Challenging, especially out of the gate. The graphics are not cutting edge, but who really cares? This one is about playability. Play alone as "The Omega Man" or there are a variety of servers/ worlds and rulesets.

I have played this game for 16 minutes. On Day 1, I woke up, took the money from my piggy bank and went to school. A peer immediately smelled my money and demanded it for himself. When I refused, I was immediately and savagely beaten to death.

On the second iteration of Day 1, I managed to introduce myself to the various other students of the school, and the custodian. After some questioning the custodian demanded that I stop pestering him. When I did not desist, he immediately and savagely beat me to death with his mop.

Yes. I WILL play this game again.

Super cheap, achievements. I cannot stand games that do not allow you to edit controls. You edit controls in this POS, and it literally does nothing. The rebind interface before launch does nothing. If the game had been more than the $0.30 I paid, Id wish death upon the devlopers for their ineptitude.
