What more can I say than my kids play it, I play it, and we've hit more than 170 hours online with well over 400 offline while we had no net. I've playe with people and alone and it's an amazing game either way!
I even have a world (which now has a Massive graveyard) that was built entirely by Hardcore characters that pushed the progress further and further each time until the family line found peace at the death of the moonlord.... more than 200 generations later lol.

This game may not be entirely as much of the Harvest Moon style as I had hoped when I first found it but it is an absolutely amazing game with beautiful gameplay and fun easy to learn mechanics that play well and don't get old fast unlike some games Ive tried. I highly reccomend this game :)

This game is absolutely hilarious, totally nerve wracking, and just plain wonderful fun for me and my family. I even got my mother to play this!

Creative, Fun, Twisted bosses (including hidden ones), a little grindy, Great Developers that still update the game, absolutely humorous, and PETS that are actually fun/useful!

Completely recommend.

Review Update:
The game has died as it stands. I have stood by the developer for a long time believing this wouldn't be the case and I feel like a traitor for changing my review but Here is where it stands.

The old review has been left for the current released aspects of the game, editted to remove the comments about changes that were promised and never came through.
The game IS fun as it stands but it isn't complete and likely never will be.

If the game ever does resume and achieve completion (I REALLY wanna see the ending!) Then I will be HAPPY to change this but I can no longer support this game.

This game is amazing. It is a beautiful work of art

It IS a perma-death game. This will put some of you off so if that sort of thing does not suit you then this game is not for you

Now that\'s not to say it is perfect. There are some bugs still as it is early developement and as a permadeath game one small screw up can easily undo hours of hard work and it is extremely unforgiving if you don\'t pay attention to the instructions or at least glance at the guide.
Got the game full price, got the game for my wife full price, soon to get it for more family full price. Worth it to me bugs and all.

I got this as part of a bundle of games for dirt cheap...that is the Only plus side.

It is simply a nightmare of a game that I really wish I hadn't wasted 15 minutes on (10 minutes of which was trying to reload the 2nd level repeatedly so I would stop falling through the floor as soon as it loaded). If I ever manage to get the game to work and Any opinion of it changes then I'll change this but I sincerely doubt that ever happens as even the intro is poorly written and the first level is absolutely insane and has nothing of substance to it.

My wife and I started playing this right as Alpha 5 was released.
When my computer broke this was all I missed.

This game has come so far and still is advancing by leaps and bounds while so many other games I watched my wife try have bombed out. The developing team is doing some amazing stuff with this and I am happy to get to be in ere helping test and play it.

It may have started out looking like a horror version of Minecraft (which my children and I play together as their desired family game night) but now there are rolling hills, serene valleys (that will break your legs if yo aren't paying attention and fall in), and the towns/buildings all look absoultely amazing.
Combat has become much more than a simple hack and slash too with effects such as bleeding, stuns, and burning; creatable traps and pitfalls; and so mch more you can easily find a way to play that suits you best.

As wonderful as the game is, I do have to say I dislike that the zeds can find you even if you spent the last week of gametime underground not moving or crafting or doing Anything at all But if you are careful and plan accordingly this too can be worked around. Also, for those who think to just jump right in... my character has learned how to craft 4 different guns and a full set of iron armor but still can't manage a forge to make the metal or the only range weapon I use a crossbow... Finding the recipes in the random loot Can sometimes be a headache but is worth it when you get what you wanted.

extremely relaxing after a long day. Beautiful music, fish swimming (and eating eachother), and pretty much a wonderful little aquarium without the cost/time of upkeep and maintenance!
