This game is a representation of what video games should be: Fun to play, easily accessible, and very well cared for. And I've gotta say, I don't think I've seen a game more well cared for than this one considering what it just went through. Not only did the ENTIRE Helldivers 2 community BAND TOGETHER to absolutely stick it to Sony and their stupid decision, but the developers OPENLY encouraged it. They actively told us that review bombing the game would give them ammunition to fight back, and it worked.

The Helldivers 2 community has very much proven that, if you REALLY work together to actively condemn companies for their terrible behavior, you can ABSOLUTELY make a difference and stand up against corpo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

For people looking to play this game, I highly suggest looking at other MOBAs. This one is OK for gameplay and fun, but when it comes to the community, it is absolutely horrible. There are people who purposely de-league themselves so they can play on lower league games and pretty much guarantee themselves wins. It is nealy impossible to get anywhere unless you absolutely pour hours upon hours into this game because you want to get better. Chances are, you might not get any better because you're fighting people who are highly advanced in skill level in a low skill-level game. You will not believe how many times you will go up a league, only to immediately drop one because you fought against ex-league 2s or bottom-line 1s. I can never seem to get above rank 8. I reach rank 7, and the next match, I lose and am de-leagued again.

Pros? Fun gameplay, graphics are cartoony and nice, the controls are rather smooth, and it makes for a good action platform-jumping, run-n-gun MOBA.

Cons? You won't get anywhere with the cheap community it has.. People are not ashamed to admit that they purposely de-league themselves to play lower ranked games. It's rather distasteful and it made me remember why I stopped playing it.

Stay away from this game, you won't have any fun because you'll constantly get rolled.
