Looked like a great game at first. But then it wouldn't stop interrupting me with "try using this (helper)" messages ruining my overall time and score. And most of the "helpers" that it was forcing me to use I didn't even need. I started to feel like this is more of a game for those new to Mahjong, or for kids. Definitely not for Mahjong enthusiasts that want to be able to concentrate without interruption. It would have been fine if there was an option to turn off "tutorial play", but there isn't. Sad, other than those annoyances, this is one of the best Mahjong games on Steam that you don't have to pay for first. But those things make it enough to stop playing. I was getting frustrated with the interruptions to the point where I wanted to smash my mouse down on the desk. Not exactly what you want from a peaceful puzzle game. I get less frustrated playing 1st person shooters.

The best part of the whole game! Very awesome and well done music. It’s so good that you could sell it by itself. Very similar to my favourite all time artist Tangerine Dream, with a hint of Kaskade and AuX.

This game has a HUGE selection of card games. But that's it. There is nothing special about this collection. And they all need a lot of work. There are tons of options missing. And a lot of the games have missing rules. The developer needs to play a few other card game collections to see what I mean. (Not too many on Steam to take example from. Might want to look at some well developed mobile games, like Card Shark Collection on iOS or Android for example.)

There is no UNDO option in the solitaire games.
No option to turn off auto-flipping the cards.
No option to see the discard spread. (Can only see top card. Klondike deal-3 for example deals 3 cards. but you can't see the 2 underneath.)
Some games are missing the ability to take the discard pile, flip it back over, and go thru it again. (Klondike seems to be the only one that allows you to do this. Pyramid and Spider are missing this, probably more.)
Some games are bugged like Pyramid. (I went to drop a Jack on a 2 to remove it from the pile and it simply removed the Jack. Then I went to drop a 9 on a 4 and for some reason it took the 6 next to it. 9+6 does not =13.)

But the most important thing that is missing. Deal animations. The cards simply change instantly. You can't see them moving into position. Which can lead to confusion sometimes as to what happened. [Deal animations have been standard in card games for at least 15 years. Not sure why that was left out. It a big one.]

It's like Sid Meier's Pirates, but 10x better! (and without the annoying swordfights)

Quite possibly the easiest Assassin's Creed game to learn. (With it's baby sibling AC5 Rogue right behind it.) No overly complicated control patterns to memorize like the first few games in the series. And not overly keyboard-intensive like the last few.

Pretty good. Easy enough to learn. Took several resets in the first day to figure out what connects to what. But now I'm at a point letting it settle in for the grind.

WAY better improvement over the first version! Played the original (call it SFO) for over a month just to get to level 12. Got bored very quickly doing nothing but quests, and quit.

Only been playing SFR for barely a week and already level 20. Definitely gives me something to hope for before losing interest. Only 5 levels away from being able to build my fortress!

Edit: (1 month later) Well my initial review was correct. Way better than the original. But still boring. My daily routine went like this.....

1) Spin the wheel to see if you won anything.
2) Do a dungeon fight to see if you win and move on to the next one (because the cooldown timer is 60 mins).
3) Go shopping, check the weapons and magic shops for anything good.
4) Do an arena fight (10 min cooldown).
5) Do a quest, if you haven't reached lvl 25 yet, concentrate on the ones with most XP, if you are lvl 25+ concentrate on money instead.
(If you created more than one character, go back to step 1.)

6) Go find something else to do until your arena cooldown is up.

Rinse and repeat..... boring.

Still no way to search clans. Still just a clicker, time waster. Still gets uninstalled.

Very odd short. First they copied Scanners (1981), then Stargate, all set in 1960's Australia. Not enough to go on. Since Part 2 never came out, we will never know.....

Apparently no one plays anymore. Can never find a match.

I've been playing Mahjong for decades and never played one that you had to shuffle 2 dozen times just to finish a board. Very bad algorithm in the coding.
