I actually Highly Recommend this game, the only problem is it's not purchasable in 180 countries, perhaps when it is, I may be able to make this review indicative of my stance on the game rather than my stance on playstation? It is, relist the game, remove the PSN requirement from legends and reinstate the preorders.

It still needs to be made available in countries that do not have PSN

Play Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen in full first if you haven't yet

The story is a really good continuation of DD1's, it answers a lot of questions, and Pawn Romance is almost real, now just need a questline for it like with Wilhelmina or Ulrika, and the game will have fixed most of DD1's problems.

The main issues are in regards to the missing vocations, Magick Knight, Assassin, Magick Archer's dagger skills and Ranger are not in the game, it appears to be due to their newer take on vocations however, making two abilities into core abilities, applied to the weapons themselves. They may still be implemented however, as fighter can now use greatshield and maces, and has a magic counter ability, with time, thief may be given the missing magick archer dagger skills, and ranger abilities may be added to archer's skillset, this is what I'm hoping, but even still, mods can re-implement a few features, given time. Aside from the missing vocations and spells, the armour system is a downgrade, hopefully they can add the missing armour slots eventually, but if not, mods can carry a lot of this weight.

I can't think of anything else to add at the moment, but personally, I'd say it's a great sequel, and am excited for what comes next in November

The are certainly tables

There are elements to this game that I personally do like, the gameplay can be fun despite it's many flaws, and the character customisation is a lot closer to the gold that was SR2, but still falls short on this by a bit. In fairness, I got this from a bundle, technically free in a sense, so I may be being a lot more generous than I should be, but I'd be lying to say that I had no fun with it at all. The Narrative as covered by many is by far the biggest problem I've encountered yet, there are times where the dialogue is just agonising, the story will not be bearable for most people, streaming the game to your friends is the best approach if you want to actually get through the story. With all that said, I really can't recommend this to most people, if you get it, proceed with caution.
