Play this game blind, no context, no tips, and roll with the flow of things that happen within, by far one of the best experiences I have ever played. I looooved OG fear and hunger, and this game is different, I honestly didnt expect 99% of the things that happen in this game, coming blind from the first game. And yes, by far best psychological survival horror experience, might even say better than the first F&H in some ways (every feature is expanded from the last game. It WILL be a good, memorable, extremely traumatizing and mentally stimulating experience (IF YOU PLAY IT WITH 0 CONTEXT, seriously, cannot stress this enough)
I would start on normal mode, (not maso, not worth it for the experience until after normal mode)

Got Ending A first on a blind playthru, Then B and C much later...
which ending you get doesnt matter.

Otherwise yea PLAY IT

This is unironically the best RPG i have ever played, full stop.

Play this blind, in a dark room in the middle of the night, no outside noise, just fear and hunger
do ZERO research, suffer through it, figure it out yourself
die
die
die again
And it is by far the most satisfying rpg you will ever play

Maybe a little traumatic
But well worth it

extremely beautiful game , 3080ti i9 11900k with quest pro link cable and it is gorgeous, has best swimming mechanics (better than vertigo 2 ,which also does it very well, but I mean its a recent thing for vr games to do 'properly' so its really cool to see) game plays like half life alyx but with different asthetic and similar weapon mechanics, but honestly cooler transitions and usages for each weapon being limited by reload speed rather than ammo and different types of materials instead of resin like alyx. Honestly if you play this more like a cinematic experience game than a combat game and just slow down and enjoy the sights, Its an amazing experience if you can run it.
The graphics were so good that in the "loft" which I will leave it at that since no spoilers, there is an amazing view that I legitimately just sat there and had a bruchetta lunch irl while drinking virtual space smoothies and sci fi cakes. Then I got on a hammock irl and just "floated" around in the virtual underground cavern lakes with the bio-luminescent squids and coral listing to the cavern sounds. If you are able to form a decent disconnect with reality and embrace the virtual atmosphere and vibe, this is genuinely one of the most sci aesthetic experiences Ive had in vr aside from listing from listing to the warp riders album by the sword while chiling in my diamondback explorer in Elite Dangerous watching the ships come and go from port while In vr or listening to russian doomer songs while watching the castle from the little house in into the radius.
Sorry for the long "review" but this really is a great experience IMHO and is a must have if you like that sort of thing.
