Great game, very refreshing shooter. if you enjoy Battlefield, Apex or even CoD you will have an easy time getting into the game while still appreciating it's unique mechanics.

Engine works great and is well optimized, environmental destruction is about as good as it gets - Movement is very fluid and actually one of the best shooter movements I've got to experience. This can be a big downside for beginners as the game is rather fast paced but if you stick around you will get used to it and feel how rewarding it can be.

Classes are well balanced although the light class is a jack of all trades that will make lots of beginners rage quit - If you play enough you will get to the point where you understand why Lights aren't actually a big issue.

Cosmetics are fairly priced and the Battle Pass is very easy to level with fair rewards for both free and paying users. Especially given the quality of the cosmetics it's worth it to grab your occassional Battle Pass (Which gives you back more premium currency than you spend on it!)

The game is losing players during the "no new content" phase and always gets good player numbers back during new content releases (Seasons/Battle Pass every ~3 Months and around 3 big updates per season).
There is also a few cheaters, but even the biggest shooters in the world (CS; Fortnite) are struggling big time with cheaters - Now more than ever. So are there cheaters? Yes, especially in high rank. But in my current 100 hours I have only encountered 3 in total. 2 of which were in ranked at the highest tier.

TL;DR
Game is free, movement and destruction is great. Hop in, try it out. Just give it a few hours to properly get used to it, specially its great unique game modes!

One of the few spiritual successors of the Left 4 Dead genre.
It's very beautiful with fantastic, detailed graphics and has a great sound design that pleases 40k / GW fans with it's great voicelines.
Could definitely need more endgame content and some QoL, but it's finally in a very playable state that lets me easily recommend it.
Some of the negative reviews are justified, but most of them are outdated our plainfully directed towards some of the monetary decisions - reasonably so, but you buy the game and enjoy the gameplay. You are never forced to even consider checked out the cash shop, in fact some people probably dont't even know it exists.

TL;DR
Great gameplay, audio design and graphics. Lacks proper end game but has decent difficulty settings. Some problematic past regarding monetization/early access. But it's very playable now, so enjoy yourselves!

A Zombie RTS with a lot of soul
So I usually don't write reviews but if you appreciate an honest opinion from a lifelong gamer please have a read:

The ugly out of the way: I have not encountered any bugs except for the tutorial mission which is a bit buggy (at the moment of review anyway).

So this game is a Zombie RTS and it gives me some slight WC3 nostalgia. Of course it's no secret, the game is still in Early Access and I can see how/why that already scares off a lot of people. And yeah, Early Access games are not finished yet, however not every EA game is a steaming hot pile of ♥♥♥♥ either. You just gotta know what you are getting yourself into and adjust your expectations realistically.

Anyway, the basics of the game are pretty solid (meaning visuals, audio and game mechanics). It is in a very playable state with more content coming in (so far) very regular updates. In a lot of ways you will feel that this is a game that is treated well by it's very active and responsive devs. They are making it their personal goal to fix reported bugs (via Discord or Steam) within a 1-3 days timespan. If you have played an RTS before than you will have a good idea of how the gameplay goes genre wise. As for the setting, the closest (and only) real contender is They are Billions (which is also a very good game, luckily they still differ heavily in style).

Gameplay wise you have got:
- Around a dozen different units (Engie, Medic, Sniper, Heavy, Scientist etc.)
- Handful of vehicles (buggies, tanks, helicopters, etc. which can all transport your units)
- Units formations (almost a dozen with different effects)
- Nice basebuilding (walls, barricades, mines, auto turrets, unit buildings, power networking, etc.)
- Small tech- and researchtree (gas masks, flashlights, different Upgrades, etc.)
- Special infected enemies (from Spitters to L4D style Juggernauts to huge Leviathan sandworms)
- Infected horde system and infected hives (which need to be cleared or they spawn more infected)
- Great camera controls, zoom in & out very far, slow-mo mode
- Economy & population handling (simple for now)
- Map that needs to be explored and recaptured step by step (map is split into different zones) with outposts on the way for you to capture, fortify and defend
- Beta Horde/Survival Mode

And much more to come in updates via a very good looking and so far reliable roadmap.

The game forces you a lot to multitask different outposts and your main base as well as your "Away Squad" which is basically your army used to clear and capture more and more of the map.

I've dreamed of a zombie survival RTS ever since I was a kid and was very hyped for They are Billions, sadly the visual style of the game isn't my thing. So I was super happy to have a much more realistic looking game with Cepheus Protocol which will probably go past most people's radar. No game is perfect however and I will list some personal negatives now:

- Voicelines are a bit dull sometimes. And repetitive. Although this is a typical RTS syndrome (Compare to peons from WC3)
- Fog of War is either a bit too harsh
- Lose your leader unit and its game over (she can go invis IF you manage to click it before she dies)
- Story mode is lacking. You follow a general story but on the way you don't really have any story being told or narrative voice acting
- Can't visually customize units except for gender and name

Ultimately I feel like this is a great game already and it will just get better with time, especially when they finally introduce the coop option. It is also very hard if you play the high difficulty so you can really have a great time with this either way. Don't get scared off by the Early Access but don't expect a AAA game made by 50+ devs either. At the very least, keep this game on your wishlist and check it out every so often :)

A good mix between casual and competetive fighting game. It has the best atmosphere of all fighting games I've ever seen IF and only IF you are somewhat of a fan of the Dragonball Universe. The voices (both English and Japanese) are extremely good and in part better than what we had in the series. The visuals are polished and on a top tier level. Combos are easy to learn, hard to master. What you really need to play this game though is friends that think alike and love to beat each other up to make this the perfect game for you.

Insanely fun and entertaining game. Great humor! Enjoyment is exponentially multiplied if played together with friends.
For the gameplay: Think of DIablo meets Doom. Extremely fluid game and rewarding learning curve (which isn't steep at all!). I haven't encountered any bugs throughout PC nor console playthrough.

Only real downside is that it lacks any real replay value other than the higher difficulties. Which it had a nice system like Diablo that keeps players coming back for a new season or even just grind levels like Paragon levels.

In its current state it will bug out around the first 25% of the game at the chess riddle -
The riddle requires for 1 player to watch a video and give information to the other player. The problem being that the video wont trigger or only show a white screen and thus wont work - Even with an online guide that tells you what to do the game wont count it because the video didnt load properly and thus the riddle wont successfully trigger.
