Really basic, but that's what makes it great to play.

Story-wise, this game is a solid addition. There are lots of different paths the story takes so it doesn't feel like one linear story but rather a bubble of sorts of different events at once. Its a decently long game and there is lots to find (granted everything is cosmetic that you find).
The optimization is a complete overhaul of what was dropped on us at launch. After several patches, the game runs with far fewer bugs than were left to us before. Not what I expected, but still an improvement. I cannot stress the level of improvement those bug fixes have done. If you did not play at launch, you cannot appreciate them on the same level. However, I do not support the idea of sh1ty launch optimization and am beyond disappointed in EA.
For it's price? - Get it on sale. There is no way in hell the game is worth it's full price still having optimization problems. It's a good idea to wait for Winter, Summer, or Developer's sales.
Game-play wise it is a massive addition to what we left off with in Fallen Order. Although I am disappointed by the lack of transitioning from one lightsaber form to another through an attack, the number of combinations of forms makes up for the loss. It is best if you play Fallen Order before playing Survivor to truly have that transitioning experience so you are more familiar with the moves.

Overall - 7/10 Optimization ruined the launch and still haunts the game, even at a lesser extent. The story connects and expands alongside the combat system. Buy the game on sale, play Fallen Order first.
